Buzzy Ford gave these names to the media for a reason ... and her own lawyer demanded to have them served with subpoenas so they could testify as witnesses to the incident.

When the only named witnesses don't support the allegation (they don't even have to PROVE anything), then they've effectively debunked it.

The Brown Shirt Media wouldn’t cover it. Go internet search for the images of Keith Ellison’s gf. The entire side of her head is one big bruise. The Brown Shirt Media could care less.

Sarah Sanders should have that pic printed up as a poster and display it next to the podium when she gives her daily briefing.

I can answer that before looking over any of the other posts. They want to be able to jump sides to protect their political hides and be seen as “for the women” and as supporters of #MeToo when the chance presents itself.

It’s all about themselves, as they don’t have a moral foundation.

...her own lawyer demanded to have them served with subpoenas so they could testify as witnesses to the incident.

So you are saying the lawyer, who is quite skilled, was in essence sabotaging the client's case. At the least, I would think the lawyer was simply trying to drag the matter out for a few months.

When the only named witnesses don't support the allegation, then they've effectively debunked it.

What a nice trap that would be. Have the witnesses declare to the press that they just weren't there. When the K team decides to use them in its defense and urges the committee to call them forward, they suddenly under oath gasp out the unpleasant truth that they also were involved in reckless booze & sex-driven parties.

This is one registered Republican who is defending Justice Kavanaugh! I do not for a second believe his accusers, especially when they can't remember important specific details. As a member of the MeToo movement, I remember important, specific details about my abuse. Even though there was a drink or two running through my veins. Also, it is highly suspicious that these allegations arise when the confirmation hearings are being held. It is the same witch hunt which occurred when Justice Clarence Thomas was being confirmed to the Supreme Court. Didn't work then and won't work now.

Grassley should have stuck to his original deadline and held the vote. He caved to the nasty dems and they doubled down. How stupid can you get. Do they realize that this could do damage in November with Republican voters. I’m voting and would never not vote, but I can see how some would just say what’s the point. Man up Grassley.

As I remembered, white men voted for Trump in droves. I think this will turn them out even more as these totally deranged women try to get power to run the country.

The lawyer MUST "sabotage" her client's case.

She knows she can't let her client testify under any circumstances.

When the K team decides to use them in its defense and urges the committee to call them forward, they suddenly under oath gasp out the unpleasant truth that they also were involved in reckless booze & sex-driven parties.

The K team will not use anyone in its defense. Grassley has already said that only Ford and Kavanaugh will testify. And there will be no "defense" without first having sworn testimony from Ford -- which ain't happening.

>>Vote now whether you have the votes or not. Barrett is waiting in the wings and can be confirmed in a matter of weeks.<<

Isn’t Barrett the chick who chose to signal her liberal credentials by adopting a couple of Haitian kids?

>> And Collin’s message?

Ford MUST testify under oath.<<

Well Collins should have kept her yap shut because that was an SOS signal to the Ford skank to get her well-used ass to D.C. to enable the Dems to destroy Kavanaugh as planned.

Uhhhh…..if they had taken the vote as soon as the hearings were over, they had the votes. Why? Vulnerable Democrats in states that voted heavily for Trump. By playing the waiting game for maximum advantage they " succeeded" in just one thing. That would be to give the maniacs time to invent bogus claims and gin up another riot, after what they did in the confirmation hearings was a big fail.

I say vote now. Except for Femnazis and their enablers, nobody believes these women. That group isn't going to vote for 'pubs whatever they do. The people they're losing by being weak are those who think, and rightly so, that Republicans are bought and paid for fools who can't govern.

Have we ever been rewarded with a winning experience when “hoping” that our Republican leaders in Congress are put in a position to make a positive difference?

You see that as a loser attitude.

I see it as realistic, and from a risk management perspective we should have a plan for the “worst” case.

Or do you think wishing and hoping is a good plan?

Grassley has already said...

...quite a few important things and then waived many of them as the play has evolved.

...sworn testimony from Ford -- which ain't happening.

Ford could quite comfortably testify under oath to any aspect of the hallucination in her head and if properly coached, as she would be, do it without making a false statement.

It is the cross-exam she is concerned about. Given her background, she could endure the cross but her character would be at risk and certainly her non-responses would substantially damage her credibility. Nonetheless, the left is no doubt urging her, or paying her, to suck it up for the sake of the scam.

You and I are not making any progress, so lets just plan to politely disagree.
