The dean of Yale Law School on Thursday responded to reports that a prominent professor at the school had advised students seeking judicial clerkships with Brett Kavanaugh on their physical looks, saying the reported allegations of faculty misconduct are "of enormous concern" and calling on anyone affected to come forward. According to reports in The Guardian, the Huffington Post and Above the Law, Amy Chua, a professor at the law school, would advise students on their physical appearance if they wanted to seek a clerkship for Kavanaugh. Specifically, Chua would help potential applicants to have a "model-like" appearance.

And please tell me what would be wrong with a professor advising her male students on how to dress when going for interviews for Supreme Court clerkships, especially the minority males?? A good professor who wants his/her students to succeed will do his or her best to help them.
Chua is the “tiger mom” that wrote that Asian mothers ride their kids to perform, whereas others just let their children cruise.
Maybe he wanted them to have a professional appearance which today can be misinterpreted to mean hot looking women????
Well, that didnt take long.
Lets just delay the vote until all of the law students affected have been interviewed by the illustrious FBI.
What a circus.
So many of us here think alike but the libs...forget it, they have no regard for professional attire and looking neat.
I’m sure the noise kept his Demorat neighbors awake all night.
Some how some Sandisks with child porn will be “found” in or around where he stayed from time to time.
They’ve already alleged that Barrett is a member of a “Catholic cult.”
that story is crap. a report that someone said someone once told someone something. buried at the end is very glowing praise for BK from one of the alleged perps of thought crime.
That’s my assessment too. How ridiculous can things get?
One of my kids applied for a job with the sheriff Dept. Of a good size city. One of the women she met whispered to her to make sure she wears formal business attire for her interviews.
DD gets home and calls me asking...mom, what is formal business attire? Well, she actually knew what it was, but hadn’t heard it called that.
So far, she’s passed all tests with flying colors, and only has a couple more to go, then she’s headed off to police academy.
It’s not uncommon for younger folks (40ish +-) to need instruction on what us older folks scoffed at in our youth, but complied with. Today, they just don’t know, and their kids are even less informed.
Good for that professor who educated her students. That’s what she was paid do do. If students are coming out of her classes ready for that kind of internship, she’s doing a fine job!
Formal business attire v low cut tank tops with bewbs hanging out, is excellent advice these days.
Note that the 40 year old accusations against Roy Moore did not emerge until after he had beaten Luther Strange in the GOP primary. Why not? These supposed victims are very calculating in their timing.
Run for office as a conservative and hear about all the girls you molested back in the 1980s or before. (or little boys if you’re female or Catholic)

“They are not called the stupid party for nothing. “
