Leading congressional Democrats are looking to stall the process to release documents related to the Russia investigation, which President Donald Trump ordered declassified on Monday.
Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff and Sens. Chuck Schumer and Mark Warner, sent a letter Tuesday asking Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats to provide an “immediate briefing” to the Gang of Eight before declassifying and releasing the documents.
The four Democrats expressed “profound alarm” at Trump’s order to declassify the records.
Trump ordered the Justice Department and Office of the Director of National Intelligence to begin the process to declassify 21 pages from a June 2017 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) application taken out against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Alright now I thought that in America “the prosecution” must release any and all exculpatory evidence to the defendant(s). So whats the problem? Such as evidence of malicious prosecution, overt bias, frame up, false information used to get warrants, etc. This is still America, right?

As an aside, the word ‘honorable’ should almost never be used when referencing anyone in government.

All of the press is portraying this as a Trump “request” for declassification. It is not a request, it is an order.
Dan Coats' presence at the Aspen conference, even without the sarcastic response, should get him fired. Nothing but a den of DemonRat and RINO haters attend that conference annually.
Dan Coats, the former senator. Ugh!! Most of the House is corrupt, but darn near all of the Senate is suspect. I honestly wish our President would put a big "X" across the Senate as a place to find anything worthy of serving in the administration?

Chuck and dear Nancy along with slimy Schiff and Warner are seditious b#stards trying desperately to undermine our President and keep the American citizenry blind to their traitorous acts. If these four are squawking about something you can bet it reveals criminal acts.
Personally, I am looking forward to seeing the e-mails and text messages from Comey, McCabe and Ohr. If the DOJ/FBI is reluctant to disclose the unredacted documents then it is time for the NSA to step to the forefront. They can be found. But RosenWeasel and Wray deserved to be tarred and feathered a long, long time ago.
