Feinstein/Katz/Ford always knew this could come down this way, and if it failed to derail the nomination, too bad. It was worth a shot.
Assuming the Senate committee doesn't bend over and stick their collective head up their collective arses, it's over. I can't imagine how a flake like Flake could still demand a hearing if the witness won't testify.
