Senate Democrats have referred a letter concerning Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation.
This matter has been referred to the FBI for investigation, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat and a member of the Judiciary Committee, told BuzzFeed News on Thursday about the letter.
A source familiar with the matter confirmed to The Hill that the letter had been referred to the FBI for investigation.
The letter has been the subject of days of intrigue on Capitol Hill but the contents of it have not been publicly disclosed by senators who have seen the document.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) was given the letter by Calif. Rep. Anna Eshoo (D), according to multiple reports.
But Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, has refused to answer multiple questions about the letter over the past two days.
She confirmed in a statement on Thursday that she had referred the matter to federal authorities.
"I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further," Feinstein said.
"I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities," she continued.
Questions about the letter boiled over on Wednesday after The Intercept published a piece saying Feinstein had refused to share the content of the letter with other members on the committee.
Sources told The Intercept that the letter was relayed by an individual affiliated with Stanford University. Some sources told the publication that it was about an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman while they were in high school.

Fusion GPS working for the Dems again?
Scum.
So does a few Pubbies.
Just a letter? Not a coke can with a pube?
Demagogic Party regs know they’re going to have their asses handed to them in November, so they’ve cooked up some more BS to try to muddy the waters.

What did Rush say?
How can we ever trust these people again? Of course we know about Ruby Ridge, Waco, and Bundy Ranch but that is almost like past history, nothing was ever done.
And just as worrisome is the way people like Strozk, Comey, McCabe, Hillary, Podesta, Rosenstein, are all soaked in the sewage of lies, fraud, deceit—outright violations of our Constitution and laws, yet nothing, nothing, nothing happens to them.
The left had a slogan once "No Justice, No Peace". Funny how that is applicable here. Destroying equal justice under the law and our confidence in our government is more destructive than 100 "dossiers" and a dozen "Russias".
From the same source.. Democrats..
If so I'll be referring to authorities a letter I received from an anonymous native American who relayed a story about some interactions he had with Collins in 1978 that are very very disturbing indeed. Made him cry, in fact.
"NEW: Two officials familiar with the matter say the incident detailed in the Feinstein letter involved possible sexual misconduct between Judge Kavanaugh and a woman when they were both in high school."
... high School, good grief!
Post it Di-fly, Google will translate the letter from your Chinese masters!
Just a stall tactic. They’ll say they can’t confirm him because he’s under investigation. If it’s credible, it can be shared.
High school? Most likely he was a minor. So who cares?
Since this strategy worked SO well against Trump...

Different sources provided different accounts of the contents of the letter, and some of the sources said they themselves had heard different versions, but the one consistent theme was that it describes an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman while they were in high school.
SERIOUSLY?
I saw him using Russian dressing once...
And it gives the feminazis more time to make calls regarding a NO vote against him.
I believed that’s called “The politics of personal destruction”.
