CBS News David Begnaud has confirmed with a senior official at FEMA that these viral images shared to Facebook earlier in the week do indeed show what may be millions of water bottles that were sent to Puerto Rico by the U.S. federal government and then never delivered to those in need by local authorities
Puerto Rico Ping! Please Freepmail me if you want on or off the list.
Where are the billions of rounds of ammo the US Government on CONUS needlessly accumulated..?

If the local corrupt Dem PR politicians delivered the water, they wouldn’t be able to blame Trump. It is more important for them to gain a political advantage, along with the help of the MSM, than it is to actually help people who are dying due to a natural disaster.
PR is a S#!t Hole, one rung above Hati, always was always will be.
Politically it's just a big Hispanic Indian reservation.
In any disaster like a major hurricane, the government assistance is only as good as the local governor and state authorities can make it. Texas recovered from her hurricane last year because they had competent people in place to deal with it. Puerto Rico did not because their local authorities were inept. If there was a lesson to be learned from last year it’s that FEMA and the Feds need to be ready to step in and provide more assistance when the local authorities are unable to hold up their end of things.
...and tell me again what GOOD would statehood for Puerto Rico do for the United States? Why take on a problem? Like immigrants, we should only choose those that will make our country greater. As the Dems hype this, they are pointing out PR is just a Sxxthole that we dont want.
OMG! That is the horrible! How could they be so evil!
The Hussein Heads are mobilized to respond at the link to blame Trump even more.
local authorities were inept
Corrupt is more like it
What? The local Puerto Rico government is supposed to do something constructive, beyond simply lining their pockets?
Remember, If the United States does anything good, others take the credit.
If anything bad happens, the United States is to blame.
Just like every other entity run by the dems. PR is totally corrupt and always has been. No one should ever be surprised.
From a humanitarian perspective I agree, but those officials were elected by the people of Puerto Rico. If they are inept the people have recourse to the ballot box. They have not chosen well for a long time. They have the government they deserve. In short, stupid should hurt.
“Puerto Rico did not because their local authorities were inept.”
Inept and/or corrupt
To make a ‘rescue’ after a hurricane work in Puerto Rico....the President would have to declare martial law, and put some US Army general in charge of the isle for 90 days. Any political figure or mayor who gets in the way....arrest them and remove them to some detention center for the remaining period. Thats the only way to make the system work correctly. It’s a shame that their developed behavior goes to this type of childish act but it is....what it is.
The traits that determine our ability to take care of ourselves and those around us are inherited, through genetics, and/or through culture. Some people don’t get enough ability to take care of themselves, some people get just enough to care for themselves, and some people get enough to care for themselves and a few of the people around them. The least capable are out-reproducing the most capable by several times each generation.
I’d tell you all to “do the math”, but you’re mostly too dumb for it.
I seem to recall local truckers refusing to distribute relief supplies unless they were first paid handsomely. Not sure if they were Teamsters, but they were still greedy scumbags.
The mayor is a Democrat and refused to help with the distribution of supplies. But you know, it was ALL TRUMPS FAULT the supplies didnt get to the people. And how did they come up with the new number of deaths? It was around 70, and then all of a sudden it is 3,000? Did no one in Big Media question this?
An old friend of mine who has worked with FPL for decades was down there with generators donated, and couldn't get them off the docks until they paid off the loading crews and truckers to transport them to locations agreed upon before they set sail from Miami. After a month, they were simply brought back to the U.S.
Then there's this:
Containers of Hurricane Donations Found Rotting in Puerto Rico Parking Lot.
