It’s difficult to describe just how much I despise McCain and everything he has done with the exception of just a very few things.
The fact that he knew he would never go back to work for the people as a senator but didn’t retire makes me loathe him even more. McCain has extremely few good qualities. He was never a “hero”; he was an opportunist who made the best out of unfortunate events that he caused in the first place. Not a hero ever.
John was trying to hold on until his dream of seeing POTUS Trump Impeached. That is what has kept him alive this long.
Guy should have retired decades ago to spend some time with his family but still I feel bad for him and his family. (Even though he was a War Mongering sociopath)

In agreement. He was a nasty, self-serving backstabber for all of his career. And obviously even the prospect of death didn’t change this. Hence his shenanigans with not giving up his seat for health reasons.
