You can say that about 80% of today's Senate. Won't be any "reform", fiscal or otherwise, until every Congress critter over the age of 65 is purged from DC (and I'll be 65 next year, BTW).
I remember how Rostenkowski was hounded by blue haired ladies in 1989 over a Medicare tax. These guys would rather saddle the younger generations with debt than lose their power and perks of office.
