MILWAUKEE A new Marquette Law School Poll of Wisconsin voters finds a tight race for governor following last weeks statewide primary elections. Among likely voters (that is, those who say they are certain to vote), incumbent Republican Scott Walker receives 46 percent, Democrat Tony Evers receives 46 percent and Libertarian Phil Anderson 6 percent. Only 2 percent say they lack a preference or do not lean to a candidate.
Among likely voters in the race for the Wisconsin U.S. Senate seat on the ballot in November, 49 percent support the incumbent, Democrat Tammy Baldwin, and 47 percent support Republican Leah Vukmir, while 3 percent say they lack a preference or do not lean toward a candidate.
Among all registered voters surveyed in the poll, the race for governor remains tight, with Walker at 46 percent, Evers at 44 percent and Anderson with 7 percent.
There is a wider margin among all registered voters in the Senate race, with Baldwin receiving 51 percent and Vukmir 43 percent.
Awareness of Evers and Vukmir has increased among registered voters since the last Marquette Law School Poll in July. Forty-six percent lack an opinion of Evers, down from 60 percent in July. For Vukmir, 48 percent lack an opinion now, compared to 66 percent in July.
Among likely voters only, 35 percent lack an opinion of Evers and 41 percent lack an opinion of Vukmir.
Evers is viewed favorably among 38 percent of likely voters and unfavorably by 27 percent. Among all registered voters 31 percent have a favorable view and 23 percent an unfavorable opinion.

This is very favorable. Loons in Madistan are chomping at the bit and we have to get all the good guys we can to the polls in NOV.
Gov. Walker is motivated and committed and has already starting to talk up his accomplishments as well as hitting Evers with the thing that most liberals fear: Truth about his record.
Do Politicians ever lie about their age? hummmm they lie about everything else why not lie about how old ya are...
“I blame Ryan. The 3rd most powerful person in Gov and he spent more time attacking his own Party than he did trying to fix WI.”
Agreed. He is SUCH a b@stard! Again, Wisconsin apologizes for even allowing him on the National Stage.
And that lesbo-beotch Tammy Baldwin and on SOME days, Senator Ron Johnson. Aarrgghh!
Ryan got his; he cares little for the rest of us. *SPIT*
Gee! Now that I think about it,tThat’s like 99.999% of our Congress!
Save Us, Obi-Wan Trump-obi! You’re our only hope!
Wisconsin will be just fine. A few Trump Rallies and we’re Golden. Everyone outside of Madistan and Milwaukeestan HATED Hillary! You would not believe the number of Pro-Trump Signs and the astonishing number of anti-Hilary signs I saw as we drove from southern to northern WI I the fall of 2016 to prep our hunting cabin for the year! 100 to one pro-Trump.
Wisconsinites WILL vote the same way in the mid-terms for Governor Walker and to work to OUST that USELESS CongressLesbian Tammy Baldwin.
I’m not worried in the least. Do Not Listen To The Enemy Media. EVER!
I don’t tell you often enough how much I truly love you and your humor.
Now...help drag us over the line in November, you Magnificent B@stard! There’s a Sammich in it for you! ;)
“Agreed. Baldwin under 50 percent with no significant lead. That is a incumbent in trouble.”
She’s proven herself to be as useless as tits on a Boar.
I’m thinking the REST of Wisconsin - beyond, ‘The People’s Republik of Madistan’ is going to ROAR in 2018.
I. Can’t. Wait. I want ALL Socialists crushed! I want them ground into Bone Meal for my garden, LOL!
I made a few posts towards the bottom, LOL!
We’re going to be just fine. :)
“Walker wins and I think Vukmir has a damn good chance...”
AMEN! :)
Walker is NOT going to lose to Evers. Evers will take 2-3 counties in the south and a few that border MN with the @#$^&*! illegal crossover voting that NO ONE EVER REPORTS ON!
Oh, and Evers WILL be out in the coming weeks to promise anyone on ‘The Reservations’ WHATEVER they want for their schools in mid-northern counties; so predictable! (See Marathon County - HUGELY BLUE!)
These polls really need to get out more and stop polling in BLUE Counties...but then, that would defeat their purpose. ;)
THANKS!
I spotted them!
Love you! :)
In the age of in which the Commie heathen Satanist scum sucking rats are farest to left than they have ever been you’re telling me that WI is in play for not only the Senate seat but quite possibly Walkers seat too? Wow just wow
Wasn’t this the same poll outfit predicting Scott Walker’s demise in the 2012 recall election? Wisconsin has its share of liberals to be sure, but it ain’t California, New York, or Illinois. There are plenty of decent, common sense folks in the state who have pushed back against the leftist scum trying to destroy it. If that wasn’t the case Walker would have never won his first election back in 2010, nor would Trump have won there two years ago. Walker will win in November by three to five points!
Im hoping youre right, but what flummoxes me is that hes not blowing the competition away, given what hes done for that state.
I am so scared. I will be a nervous wreck between now and November. The idiocy of the average voter never fails to astound me.
If we lose the House in November, Trump’s presidency is finished. Even if they don’t impeach, they will stop his agenda dead in it’s tracks.
#19. The University of Wisconsin, Madison, is what is wrong with people.
Madison used to be known as “Moscow North”. From what I hear, it still is and has children.
There was very little ticket splitting in WI in 2016 (Pres/Senate) 2012 (Same) or 2010 (Gov/Senate).
[Kinda yes, kinda no. Somewhat on each side. Im middle of the road on this, undecided. Its 50/50. Im not sure. Yes and know. Its a grey area. Not something you can definitively answer. I tentatively agree, but I also tentatively disagree. There are doubts on both sides of your argument. Its middling-ground. I’m feeling indecisive about it. Some people see the pros, others the cons. Its not something you can just make a decision on. It’s a dilemma. I can see both sides. Im vacillating. I question each premise. Im not 100% either way. Slightly leaning yes, and slightly leaning no. Maybe, maybe not. I’m hesitant to commit to an answer. Ask again later. The signs are cloudy. You can never be sure. Dont necessarily jump to any conclusions. Never say never. I should demur, before I say too much.]
LOL, sounds exactly like a moderate Republican.
I just hope the rats goes down. And I may disagree with Scott Walker, on a few things but he very very bravely stood up to the Commie heathen teachers union knowing full well that it could have costed him everything. So that alone makes me respect him.
