A poll released by Axios-Survey Monkey on Tuesday shows that Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) leads Democrat Phil Bredesen by 14 points in the U.S. Senate general election, 55 percent to 41 percent among registered voters.
Among likely voters, Blackburns lead over Bredesen is even greater, 58 percent to 40 percent.
Axios-Survey Monkey conducted similar polls in 13 states where contested Senate races are underway. The overall polling reveals that Democrats will have an uphill climb in attempting to capture control of the U.S. Senate in the midterm 2018 election cycle. Democrats are hampered in their Senate races by having to retain seats in 10 states that President Donald Trump carried in 2016, including five that he carried by double digits.

Correct. And she uses her Marine brother in her ads to establish her Military bone fides.
Pro Life Christian, Pro Trump, considered and said she would serve as his VP.
#AlwaysTrump CONSERVATIVE!
GO MARSHA!
You are sort of where I am, and I too am a Tennessean. Marsha is not particularly well-known statewide, and she is a very willing Trump proxy. So if Trump’s popularity were to decline among suburban GOP moderates, that could make it much closer than this. Still, the inherent advantage of being a Republican in Tennessee is likely enough to get her to the Senate.
yeah, i remember how the leftist fake stream media has been saying TN was a tossup or a probable loss for the GOP. Even some of the nattering nabobs of negativism here were parroting that BS ... I never believed it for a second ...
“I read that the GOPe swamp lovers in TN are not donating to her campaign”
yeah, i read it too. apparently, just one of the many angles the leftist fake stream media has been using in their fake news about this election ...
RCP still calls this one a “toss-up”. 18 point spread among likely voters is not a toss-up in my book.
Does anyone know if this poll is accurate historically? Other polls show a different result were the election held now.
I don’t know why in the world people here keep electing Alexander. It must be the name recognition from when he was Gov.
He is outspending her on television by about a hundred to zero. This poll is big if true. He’s pretty popular in the state.
People in my area are excited about Bill Lee. I haven’t decided yet between Bill Lee and Diane Black. The NRA supports her but I’m hearing Bill is conservative about the 2nd Amendment and illegal immigration too. Not sure I’m trusting Diane Black or Randy Boyd right now.
Thanks. I want the most conservative candidate who will win and not be torpedoed. Bill Lee is the most conservative it sounds like.
He says he’s a conservative Christian business man. Diane B. and Randy B. keep clobbering each other with attack ads so I don’t know which of them to believe. Randy B. attacked Bill Lee by saying he’s a Never-Trump guy, believes in sanctuary cities and open borders but Lee claims that isn’t true. A lot of people here where I live in Republican groups say that Bill Lee is the best, most honest, and most conservative that supports the 2nd Amendment and the wall.
there was one story about one guy that wouldn’t donate to her campaign for a bunch of weird reasons. one story. one guy. probably wasn’t a real republican to begin with.
it’s not even fake news. it’s crap news.
That’s the unfortunate thing...Ward is the best conservative on paper, but presents herself poorly and makes a lot of gaffes. McSally is actually a decent candidate the establishment came up with as far as how she presents herself - good resume’, energetic, etc.
Defeating Sinema will be difficult regardless but she has ties to the Communist Party (wrote for their newsletter) and is a self-avowed socialist...yet somehow has presented herself as a mainstream moderate. That mask has to be taken off.
Discussed at FreeRepublic. comhttps://t.co/zqFDoUbCS9 Don't trust polls, get out and vote? Remember Hillary was a 95% shoo in and Poppy B told her the fix was in on election evehttps://t.co/YsSGeqGEHY— Slip Stream News (@GaryZPon) July 21, 2018
Yes. Her House District was gerrymandered for her to be able to win the seat. She then announced she is the first proudly bisexual member in the House. She has since been hiding her true self, while voting moderately. The Dems long game is coming true for Sinema. They illegally gerrymandered the state and, when Gov Brewer sued, a Leftist judge threw out the case. Sinema never says she is a DEM in any of her ads. She will be tough to beat.

IOW, be on the lookout for last-minute media-led smears based on DNC talking points. Thanks Trump20162020.
Counting the days until Blackburn replaces Corker and Tennessee gets a real Senator.
Anti-Lee ads are saying he donated to RINOs but not a dime to Trump. Anybody know if that’s true? Also that he was soft on gender-specific restrooms.
I like her, and hopefully she wins the seat
