A poll released by Axios-Survey Monkey on Tuesday shows that Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) leads Democrat Phil Bredesen by 14 points in the U.S. Senate general election, 55 percent to 41 percent among registered voters.
Among likely voters, Blackburns lead over Bredesen is even greater, 58 percent to 40 percent.
Axios-Survey Monkey conducted similar polls in 13 states where contested Senate races are underway. The overall polling reveals that Democrats will have an uphill climb in attempting to capture control of the U.S. Senate in the midterm 2018 election cycle. Democrats are hampered in their Senate races by having to retain seats in 10 states that President Donald Trump carried in 2016, including five that he carried by double digits.

Thank you for this happy post. Ora et labora, folks.
Bump!
I hope it holds. I read that the GOPe swamp lovers in TN are not donating to her campaign. Maybe this poll will wake them up.
Her lead should hold and I predict she will easily be elected.
By the way... all the commercials I've see on behalf of Bredesen so far have Bredesen tslking about Trump. He says NOTHING in regard to his opponent Marsha Blackburn.
This is good.
Thank the Lord. I hope this comes to pass.
Thank God. All the liberals moving to Tennessee to escape higher taxes are such fools. They move to TN and continue to vote Dem. Make no sense and just confirms liberals truly aren’t very smart. Then you have the Country Music industry being ruined by the likes of McGraw, Hill, etc.
The blue wave of liberal tears will be massive!
IMO Axios/Survey Monkey is the most skewed poll.
Their intent is to gin up support for Bredesen.
But money spent on Bresden will very well be wasted.
LOL!
Tennessee doesn’t HAVE to have TWO Amnesty Senators!
Replacing Alexander is next in 2020.
They’ve had a pretty good track record in state races. They’re not some shady internal poll released by a candidate’s own campaign.
yahoo!!!
As a Tennessee voter, some of the races, especially in the primaries, I’m not overly excited about. Some I have mixed feelings about. But this one is clearcut. Blackburn is a good candidate. She is the main reason that I’m looking forward to voting this election cycle.
Bredesen is popular in the state. If he is able to attract enough moderate/establishment Republicans, it could end up being much, much closer than this poll indicates. But I think that Marsha will win...hopefully.
It’s Tennessee, so if she wasn’t winning there, the midterms really would be a blue wave.
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.
:)
WTF? It's NOT like we nominated Joe Arpaio!!!
Corker was booed loudly when Trump introduced him at the Nashville rally a couple of months ago =>

Blackburn will be a welcome change from that f*cking dwarf a$$hole Corker. Now the followup will be for Tennesseans to rid themselves of Lamar Alexander in 2020, along with a dozen or more RINO/GOPe trash from a host of other states.
Joe Arpaio will take some Conservative votes from Kelli Ward. Ward has some hard hitting ads against Marth McSally, running now. Kyrsten Sinema (D) will draw a lot from the middle. I know McSally is not the most Conservative member of the House, but I think she could beat Sinema. I dont believe Ward can beat Sinema.
