So the law was written to prevent human trafficking (or at least combat it). Instead they used it to arrest a well-known performer who was doing some special show. Did they think she was being trafficked? Did they think she was trafficking? I’m not sure what the logic is here in arresting her.

Legislating that stuff is stupid, and large government.

The only appalling thing is that taxpayer dollars are going to such ridiculous things. And it’s a strip club, so I’m thinking that is not shocking.
I bet they had a difficult time finding officers to volunteer for that job ; )
