McCain Tweets in Support of Kavanaugh
Twitter ^ | July 9, 2018 | John McCain

Judge Brett Kavanaugh has impeccable credentials & a strong record of upholding the Constitution. He is widely respected as a fair, independent & mainstream judge. I look forward to the Senate moving forward with a fair & thorough confirmation process.

McCain has consistently supported Supreme Court nominees on principle. I’d venture to guess that he’s never voted against a SC confirmation — especially a nominee from a GOP president.

Are you declaring Republicans to be persona non grata?

Just RINO's & the likes of John McNuts!

McCain is first and foremost a Republican.

Sure, just look at all the moral support he's given to his Republican President.

Kavanaugh is a constitutionalist judge.

What seems to be upsetting folks is he’s not a conservative activist judge.

I wanna see this guy actually alive...

It’s getting a bit creepy like those people who keep their dead mothers in the house so they can collect their Social Security.

His mother taught inner city kids and told him to 'trust his feelings'.

She may be a kind woman but she sounds like a pie-in-the-sky liberal.

When the going gets tough will he support the Constitution or 'what feels right'?

He also said he would respect 'precedent'.

To me 'precedent' is a liberal buzz word.

Liberals describe Roe v Wade as precedent and they have repeatedly told us we have to respect 'precedent'.

Okay. But can he actually get his sorry butt to the US Senate to actually vote when it counts?

The court ruled in favor of facilitating the abortion. Kavanaugh dissented and wrote the below -- am I missing something?

“The Government has permissible interests in favoring fetal life, protecting the best interests of a minor, and refraining from facilitating abortion... [this ruling is] a radical extension of the Supreme Court’s abortion jurisprudence."

Uh oh.

McCain supports.

I now don’t like Kavanaugh so much."

I'm liking Kavanaugh even less now. McCain (if he is still sucking air) is hardly a reliable conservative or Republican vote. If McCain is supporting him it gives me pause.

LOL! Good. I suspected that he would surface in support of Kavanaugh and even wondered if there’s a possibility of him being able to vote.

Yep. If he were capable of expressing himself, we would see photo or video.

Psy-ops. Totally.

Libs: “if McStain is for it, then the conservatives will be against it, right? So let’s put McStains support out there then the republicans will vote against Kavanaugh.”

Yesterday I read a joke that McCain would be defrosted to make a comment about the SCOTUS pick.

Same here. He made a great speech last night to get confirmed, but it was worrisome to me he spent so much time pushing women, blacks, Kagan etc.
