The latest Harvard/Harris Poll, though, reveals that swing voters are overwhelmingly opposed to the Democrats’ plan to end all immigration enforcement across the U.S.
Nearly 3-in-4 swing voters, about 73 percent, of swing voters said they do not want ICE to be disbanded. Less than 30 percent of swing voters said they support the abolishment of ICE.
Likewise, Americans in general oppose the Democrats’ plan to abolish ICE. Nearly 70 percent of Americans polled in the Harvard/Harris Poll said they do not support ending ICE and thus all immigration enforcement.
Abolishing ICE, as Breitbart News reported, would have allowed more than 1.6 million illegal aliens to have gone free throughout the U.S. in the last five years.

Those who would agree to the abolition of Immigration Control and Enforcement, do so out of ignorance of both the law and human nature. There is a certain segment of the population whose interest lies with defying the law, for either personal gain, or out of sheer cussedness of personality, thinking the law simply does not apply to themselves.
Authority at every level, of course, has to justify its existence, and its legitimacy, because without a strong sense of even-handed justice in application, the authority is soon corrupted, and spins out into tyranny and despotism.
There is a sense that the justice system is rapidly assuming a multi-level approach, in that what would be criminal by any objective standard, is waived or ignored for certain protected classes, whether is is for affirmative action, or simply too big to be held accountable. Worse, new categories of “crime” are constantly being introduced, to label opposition with an unrealistic standard of behavior, so as to further drive what had been pillars of belief into the underground and to hound them out of existence.
And that way lies in the direction of eventually assuming command-and-control, for the good of the majority, of course. The newly created minority is then saddled with all the ills of the entire society, and is punished as an example to future dissent.
This is the story. One quarter of the US (according to this poll - who knows the truth) want open borders without any enforcement.
I was stranded with nothing more than CNN on the boo tube and I notice the left is pushing “replace” ICE. Only thing is, they had NO ideas on what to “replace” ICE with. None; just jabbering of “abolish”. The fun part was “replace” “later”.
These scumbags have absolutely no respect for our laws; none. They have NOTHING for the mid-terms; this is the best they can come up with so far, abolish ICE and our rule of law.
The swamp leaders in ICE are resisting Trump.

They seem to be doing that a lot lately. I support their right to do so. lol
Every time I think they have hit rock bottom they find a nerw bottom. Abolish ICE, which is doing what the law says they must do, but protect the FBI that attempted ( and is currently attempting) a coup on a legitimately elected president. Makes perfect sense to me.
13% of United States residents are foreign born.
How many of that 25% are okay with heckling administration people if they show up at a restaurant. How many of them get all wheepy waily about “separating the children”.
Ryan should put this up for a vote. Make everyone go on record.

Can I just start calling the Democrats the Enemy Within? I think so.

The left never knows when to stop. They had a winning (if fake) “issue” of separating “children” from parents, even though 85-90% of the “children” are teenagers traveling without their parents. But then Trump signed an EO stopping that, although it goes against previous court orders. So they immediately started to complain about how inhumane it is to keep families locked up at all, and that they should be let go. People are not in favor of that, and they exposed their real agenda again, open borders.
Now we know why the left is promising an all out effort to stop the president from filling Justice Kennedy’s seat on the SC. All of us here know the Dems can’t articulate what they really want for this nation or else they would be decimated. They’ve always been able to rely on the federal courts, and the control of those courts, to thwart popular will, and implement whatever unpopular policy they need to forward their agenda.
Half the 25% think they are talking about road ice...next they want to ban sleet and ahil.

it’s like our President just said, as well as many others here: it looks like the Dems are desperately trying to never win another election ...

Winning elections is no longer part of their strategy, apparently. Probably because they can’t sell the lie effectively in this information age.
They’ve chosen a different route to power, out of having no other choice. So here we go, to war.
