A progressive Democrat in New York who called Israel’s killing of violent Palestinian protesters on the Gaza border a “massacre” scored a major upset over incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in a contentious party primary.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 28, defeated Crowley, 56, by a margin of 58-42 percent in Tuesday’s election, toppling a lawmaker who was viewed as the successor to Rep. Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ocasio-Cortez belongs to the Democratic Socialists of America and is a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Vermont Independent who ran as a Democrat in the 2016 presidential primaries. New York’s 14th District, which comprises parts of Queens and the Bronx, is overwhelmingly Democrat.
She tweeted on May 14, the day more than 60 Palestinian protesters participating in the “March of Return” were killed on the border with Gaza: “This is a massacre. I hope my peers have the moral courage to call it such. No state or entity is absolved of mass shootings of protesters. There is no justification. Palestinian people deserve basic human dignity, as anyone else. Democrats can’t be silent about this anymore.” …

I read, yesterday, that Crowley sent a surrogate to a debate with her. Crowley was a white, radical liberal that promised them the moon. And most of those constituents have turned nice neighborhoods into the hovels and favela’s they left behind when they illegally entered the US. She promised all of them the same things. When she gets to DC she’ll be seduced by all the money and power and she’ll quickly forget all about those that voted for her.
But, she’s hot, young and probably articulate. And the Dem’s have no one that can check all three of those boxes, especially since it seems like they’ve cast Tulsi Gabbard to the wolves.

She is the progeny of the Democratic Party. They have sired her, birthed her, and, now, she is has shown them her power and she is in the process of going beyond her “progressive” parenting.” Will identity politics take over America? If God allows. We will see.
Her ‘idol’ - Bernie - had his second year in a row earning more than $1 million for producing absolutely nothing. All he does is spend other people’s money and his wife runs a college into bankruptcy. But he does ‘donate’ to charity - his own foundation. Sweet gig if you can get it - and this NY socialist obviously wants in.

She’s definitely been groomed, that’s for sure. Never heard her talk. But I’m sure she is smooth talking and great at promising all sorts of stuff for those that will actually go and vote. And just like someone else, she won’t deliver, but take advantage of her position for her own benefit.
A glamorous, eloquent, hyper media-savvy communicator with a catchy name who will strike gold with endorsing candidates that so far remain in the shadows.
In high school, she won a major science award in a contest put on by MIT and got an asteroid names after her as a result.
She already has a published article in a Catholic magazine tying her faith with the need for criminal justice reform, which opens with this statement:

It’s the same way many people (including me) felt when then Senator Obama delivered the keynote DNC Convention speech for Kerry/Edwards in ‘04. You just knew it was only the beginning.
I even remember then Fox News contributor and conservative Fred Barnes on the panel afterward saying, “he is going to be the next president of the United States.” (Or first black president.) And he meant it.
Not saying Cortez is going to be president one day necessarily, but she’s a big deal whether we like it or not.

this lady is the new long term plan of the party... I am guessing if you look into her back ground it is as sketchy as a certain President. The demacrat party knows on some level the gig is up and this is the party scrambling to have a future 12-16 years from now.
