Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs on Monday introduced a measure that would censure Rep. Maxine Waters and ask her to resign for inciting people to publicly confront Trump administration officials.
Biggs told The Hill that Waters comments do not become somebody whos in Congress and warrant disciplinary action.
So we just introduced it, we have some cosponsors, but what she did was to basically incite people to come after and attack members of the presidents cabinet, the Arizona Republican told The Hill. And also spread that out to more people.
Everybody agrees that it was just highly objectionable what she did, he added.
The measure calls on Waters to apologize to Trump administration officials for endangering their lives and sowing seeds of discord, to release a statement making it clear that violence and harassment arent appropriate ways to protest, and finally to resign her House seat.

Maxine Waters being who she is, she would have “no idea” of why she should be censured.
Even Nancy Pelosi has told Maxine to “cool it”, but does anybody think that Maxine even knows the concept of self-discipline?
So far, Maxine has been the greatest spokesperson ever for halting the “blue wave”. After all, SHE doesn’t live in “flyover country”.
There’s hundreds of thousands of equally vile and filthy Maxine Waters loose in the country.
Extremely biased and embarrassing
for the Dems either way. Senility
does not belong in politics. This
is a great argument for Congress
critter term limits.
How about getting that Banking against Maxine investigation going ,it’s been about 10 years now
“AND THIS 18 U.S. Code § 373 - Solicitation to commit a crime of violence
Jeff will get right on it and strike the fear of god in these bastards.
I think her actual purpose is to go out there and say the crap that many of the Democrats think, but don’t dare say. Or things that they want said in public but don’t dare say. I’m pretty sure that she is so stupid that it makes her easy to manipulate. It probably makes her feel important when they load her up with talking points and point her at a camera.
Oh man! I can hear the race card engine revving up from here.
Need more popcorn for this show.
“How about getting that Banking against Maxine investigation going ,its been about 10 years now”
Right. That fierce warrior Paul Ryan will get right on it.
But she’s the one up front carrying the hate flag.
“Hmpf.. the Dems demand, GOP asks. *blank* that. Demand for a change. Show some backbone, GOP. Try: I demand Representative Waters resign AT ONCE over her hateful remarks.”
Sounds like the bill is written. Bring it to the floor today, vote on it and publish the names of every Republican who votes against it. Add those names to the list of who should be primaried.
About time the hammer comes down on her charade of being a respectable member of Congress.
The Republicans are nuts if they really want her out. Mad Maxine is the gift that keeps on giving.
I would imagine somewhere in DC city law, there’s a 1800s riot-control law probably sitting there and suggests anyone trying to incite a riot, can be jailed. Someone ought to go dig up city laws and research this.
It’ll never happen.
It’s a start and we can pray.
Because it’s well past time someone finally stood up to the leftist hooligans and inciters.
Any idea of what the bill is called or numbered so we can contact our reps and urge them to support it?
Come on. She dint do nuffin’ wrong. It was Trump and his mean old Republican friends that started the whole thing.
That’s her story, and she be stickin’ to it like flies on poop!
AGREED.............. THE VERMIN MUST GO
Yesterday, I called my rep (Adrian Smith - NE, 3rd CD). I demanded that he ask for a censure of Maxine waters; and further, I told his staffer that, should he not immediately demand censure of Waters, then he would be partially culpable if any citizen is injured or killed as a result of her incitement.
I’d like to see the list of co-sponsors of and signers to this proclamation.
