Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs on Monday introduced a measure that would censure Rep. Maxine Waters and ask her to resign for inciting people to publicly confront Trump administration officials.
Biggs told The Hill that Waters comments do not become somebody whos in Congress and warrant disciplinary action.
So we just introduced it, we have some cosponsors, but what she did was to basically incite people to come after and attack members of the presidents cabinet, the Arizona Republican told The Hill. And also spread that out to more people.
Everybody agrees that it was just highly objectionable what she did, he added.
The measure calls on Waters to apologize to Trump administration officials for endangering their lives and sowing seeds of discord, to release a statement making it clear that violence and harassment arent appropriate ways to protest, and finally to resign her House seat.

About time - man do these people work on a different clock then that rest of us.
What’s it take? 2/3rds?
Maybe not, but it makes another great campaign issue for November.

Wow. Arizona actually elected someone who’s not a complete and utter asshole?
Good for you, Rep. Biggs! I was complaining the other day that none of the Republicans had the balls to stand up to that arrogant, single-digit IQ POS Waters. I’m glad to see I was wrong. :-)

ACTION NOW-TALKING POINTS: In todays letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics co-chairman, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton writes: In encouraging individuals to create crowds who will push back on President Trumps Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Maxine Waters seems to be violation of House rules, specifically:
<><>A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]
We hereby request that the Office of Congressional Ethics conduct a preliminary investigation into whether Rep. Maxine Waters violated House Rules in encouraging attacks on Cabinet officials.
BACKSTORY Rep. Maxine Waters addressed a rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 23, telling a crowd: If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1Fu3g1MGHY

Publish the names and info of Democrat hill staffers.
That will bring this crap to a screeching halt.
No! She’s symbolic head and voice of the Democratic party. Besides, she’s a protected class. Though I guess it would be fun to put Dems on the spot to defend or renounce her (and those that like her fiery call to violence). Dems have problem on their hands.
It doesn’t matter.
If Rats won’t vote for it, hang it around their necks in the next election.
Make it a litmus test: will you vote to eject Waters the thug?
Beat them over the head with it all across the country.
It took the idiot “Republicans” 30 years to figure out that’s what the Rats were doing with pointless votes in the ‘60s. They didn’t care if they won or lost, what was important was that they could browbeat their opponents with it when they went home.
Now that I think about it. Why does this woman still have any security clearance?
Still wouldn’t shut her up - she’ll scream even louder.
Expel mad Max!
Maybe the pubbies are finally learning how Trump does it.
Race card will come into play very early
Hmpf.. the Dems “demand”, GOP asks”. *blank* that. Demand for a change. Show some backbone, GOP. Try: “I demand Representative Waters resign AT ONCE over her hateful remarks.
In the real world where we real Americans work, we would be fired. The fact that congress can do these things without punishment is enough to make a person vomit and vote to change this system
I believe only 4 other Reps have signed on. We need to flood Congress with calls and emails. Every GOP Rep should sign on to this. Wasn’t the shooting of Steve Scalise warning enough for them?
HAHA, Laura Ingraham called for that last night.
I was wondering if it would actually at least start to happen,
Libs heads exploding at DU from all the BAD news.
Yup, it’s a statement but it’s nice to see someone in Congress paying attention.
