“Clean energy” is code for CO2/globull warming fake science.

Science utilizes the scientific method.

The scientific method requires the conduct of controlled, reproducible experiments.

Climate “science” does not utilize the conduct of controlled, reproducible experiments.

Since climate “science” does not utilize the conduct of controlled, reproducible experiments it does not utilize the scientific method and is therefore not science.

Liberal telling conservatives what to do. Never accept their premise.

Conservatives have been addressing environmental issues my entire life (I’m 64). They just don’t go leftist whackjob on it.

To use an example, it is the difference to be concerned about animal welfare vs being concerned about animal rights.

I’m having a hard time seeing Benji as a Conservative.

The ol’ “It’s time for Conservatives to ...” trope usually shows up when someone means, “It’s time everyone shuts up and just agrees to do what the communists want”. I’m never a fan of that.

Environmental “issues” are concocted by the environmental “movement” to incite hysteria resulting in more governmental control.

A major environmental issue is the flood of persons, hostile towards our people, flooding over the Southern border! Will anyone deny--with native born Americans, living in California, being increasingly restricted in their use of water, that increasing the demand for water by those arriving uninvited, is an environmental issue?

An American Immigration Policy

Or deny, that the Left uses environmental concerns as a distraction from other issues, when it suits them!

"...suggesting irrational plans such as bailing out the coal industry or drilling within our cherished National Parks."

So as leftists put more and more millions of acres under the auspices of "national parks" (under Obama and other liberal administrations), they're supposed to be completely off limits to drilling?

>>common-sense environmental policies

In Washington, a common-sense policy always lacks common sense.

Bundy ranch comes to mind. Many coal companies went bankrupt and soros bought them up. Epa mandated alcohol in the gas which destroys old equipment and small engines. Epa wanted to consider a pothole with water in it as a navigable so they could usurp control over most of the USA. Conservatives do address environmental issues more than libretards do.

The most serious environmental issue is wacko environmentalists.

We must do soomething to curtail and cancel their everlasting whining.

Mindless young women insistant on making a difference are detrimental to the country

Outdoorsmen—hunters and fisherman—have been good stewards of the environment long before there was such a thing as "environmentalism".

Americans and W. Europeans are the most environmentally-conscious people on earth.

That said, the best policy on the environment would be
1. dissolve one EPA
2. devolve environmental standards to states and localities
3. resolve environmental issues as the free market makes it clear: people moving into areas that do a good job with the environment, and moving away from areas that don’t.

It is time for eco-freaks to clean up their mess after Earth Day rallies and other liberal BS get-togethers.

Compare with conservative rallies and get back to me you tree-hugging twits.

The author raises some valid points, but his underlying premise is flawed.

It's true that most Americans consider environmental issues important, but political polls conducted specifically during political campaigns consistently show that the vast majority of them see this as a classic "important, but not right now" issue in every election cycle.

The attitude of a typical American voter can best be described as the following on the day he or she enters the voting booth: "The environment is important, but I'll worry about it later because other things (the economy, jobs, education, crime, health care, etc.) are more important right now."

Guess what happens? "Later" never comes for the vast majority of American voters.

Nope. Stick with immigration until we have a sensible solution that shuts down the incentives for illegal immigration once and for all time.

It is the Progressives who need to continue scatter-shooting until they find an issue worth discussion. We have ours.

Largely because of these issues, Democrats hold a two-to-one advantage over Republicans with Millennial voters.

Hardly. Millenials favor Democrats because the donks promise them all kinds of free stuff.

I’m a Hunter and a Fisherman. I don’t want dirty water or air. I just don’t want men put out of work, because there’s one lily spotted tree newt, 8 miles from their job site.
