SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)- - San Francisco Mayoral candidates Jane Kim and Mark Leno hosted an event Saturday afternoon in the city's Fillmore neighborhood, but some residents made it known they weren't welcome.
Facebook Live video shows people shouting, and making derogatory remarks towards Kim.
Some Fillmore residents raised questions on why candidate London Breed, who represents District 5, wasn't present at the event.

A place in which, when Gavin Newsom ran for mayor, he was actually considered the more conservative business oriented candidate? That San Francisco?

Sounds like foul-mouthed black activists chime in around 5 minutes and 30 seconds or so, then other blacks join in. To be fair, some blacks played defense and were chided by the foul-mouthed ones as not being homies. Thing is, I was listening for the slurs but most of what I heard were complaints about Jane Kim doing white people’s work. Well, with only 5 percent population being black in SF, she’s going to address concerns for the other 95 percent.
The school districts who accepted public funding to educate every single person in this video should give it back immediately. My IQ dropped in half watching this harbinger of future politics in this poor nation. Holy crap.

I lived in Oakland, for about 11 years. It was never this bad. This is 100% Obama. Makes me sick.
The blacks in this video are very mouthy, but it’s important to have some perspective on what’s really going on. Before all you folks in Red-State America start to think that BLM types are some sort of force to be reckoned with in S.F., allow me as a resident to enlighten you. The city’s black population is barely 1/3 of what it was 50 years ago. They’ve mostly left town and ain’t coming back. They’ve simply been priced out... with median single family home prices hitting $1.6 million and non-rent-controlled apartments going for $4000/mo and up. What’s left of S.F.’s black population is mostly lower/lower-middle class and depends heavily on public & subsidized housing. Sure, the Bay Area has some black professionals, tech workers and Muni/BART drivers & janitors who earn enough to live there but they mostly don’t, as the city basically has no black middle class. The ghetto folks remain (on the largess of HUD, etc.) and you see some of them in the video, but they’re rather inconsequential in the scheme of S.F. politics. Candidate London Breed is interesting, as some comes from lower class ghetto world, but, bizarrely, is sort of the de facto right-wing candidate in the mayoral race. That’s because she has ties to the city’s pro-business/development power elite and because the other candidates are somewhere to the left of Che Guevara.
I've lived in the Bay Area for 20+ years. 11 of those in Oakland. Your trolling does not negate my life experience.

Good post. While California pols beat up on everyone else for being racist I was checking up on the stats for one wealthy Bay Area suburb/exurb Alamo, CA.
Population 14K.

Kim’s blabbering about “affordable housing” is what really pushed the local’s buttons.
Liberals in CA have created a zillion environmental and other zoning regulations to make housing hopelessly unaffordable—and then they claim some subsidies will fix the problem they created.
If she came to my community and claimed she was trying to help after she and her buddies helped create the problem I would have a bit of an “attitude” as well.
