I lived in Oakland, for about 11 years. It was never this bad. This is 100% Obama. Makes me sick.
The blacks in this video are very mouthy, but it’s important to have some perspective on what’s really going on. Before all you folks in Red-State America start to think that BLM types are some sort of force to be reckoned with in S.F., allow me as a resident to enlighten you. The city’s black population is barely 1/3 of what it was 50 years ago. They’ve mostly left town and ain’t coming back. They’ve simply been priced out... with median single family home prices hitting $1.6 million and non-rent-controlled apartments going for $4000/mo and up. What’s left of S.F.’s black population is mostly lower/lower-middle class and depends heavily on public & subsidized housing. Sure, the Bay Area has some black professionals, tech workers and Muni/BART drivers & janitors who earn enough to live there but they mostly don’t, as the city basically has no black middle class. The ghetto folks remain (on the largess of HUD, etc.) and you see some of them in the video, but they’re rather inconsequential in the scheme of S.F. politics. Candidate London Breed is interesting, as some comes from lower class ghetto world, but, bizarrely, is sort of the de facto right-wing candidate in the mayoral race. That’s because she has ties to the city’s pro-business/development power elite and because the other candidates are somewhere to the left of Che Guevara.
