Officials say a potential threat has forced the closure of a central Michigan high school where students parked their pickup trucks adorned with Confederate flags outside for two days.
Bay City Public Schools Superintendent Stephen Bigelow tells The Bay City Times he has canceled classes Thursday at Bay City Western High after being informed about rumors that people planned to confront students.
WJRT-TV reports Bigelow said in a message to parents that the “unsubstantiated” rumors involved threats from outside the school district.
Six trucks flying or painted with the Confederate battle flag parked outside of the school on Tuesday and were joined by others on Wednesday, when they were met by a counter-demonstration against racism and bigotry.

The country is infected with collective insanity. Closing a school on the appearance of trucks with a certain symbol. A CEO gripped with terror because an employee followed company policy but didn’t realize that certain races are given special exemptions.
Bay City; a miniature version of Detroit, in the middle of nowhere. Dead GM factory towns like Pontiac, Flint, Saginaw, and Bay City are all leftist shitholes filled mostly with the dreggs after the workers all moved away. Oh, and they were the landing zip codes for lot’s of obama’s DACA and refugee hoardes.
Of course these fools don’t realize that they are completely surrounded by farms, woods, and plenty of Michiganders with Southern roots.

This used to happen ALL the time. Every other pick up truck used to have some type of Confederate flag logo on it. Now a Confederate flag is the equivalent of a Nazi flag in Germany. You get investigated for displaying one.
The irony is that the Confederate Flag was used for years by Dems as a political symbol of white solidarity. The Dems used it as a political rallying cry for suppression of black and minority votes. In the past 30 or 40 years, since the Dems dropped segregation and Jim Crow as a means of keeping political power, the Confederate Flag has become simply a cultural symbol. And now the Dems and their SJW allies are leading the charge to demonize it.
Yes, it’s encouraging.
Confederate flags and snow? Those are two things I don’t expect to see together.
