Thanks, Luv...right this very minute I feel 10 times worse than that little guy. I have reached the end of my row for tonight. I’m off to bed. My brain is dead.

Most of the tulips are red but there are a few purple and yellow ones too. They were planted by Hubby’s mom or by Aunt Clara. All the daffodils have been here for years too.

Neat that you have irises blooming already. We still have a little while to wait for ours. The first should be some white bearded irises my dad sent a few years ago for my birthday but when remains to be seen. I don’t know if the chilly weather will set them back or not. They bloomed the first week in April last year.

Good idea. Rest, rest, rest.

And Nyquil! See you when you feel better. And for goodness sake don't answer the phone if it's work. LOL!

They might be a bit later but I’ll bet they’ll bloom. Do you have them in just one bed or scattered like the tulips and daffodils are?

Mine are mostly purple or brownish. One yellow if it will bloom. Most of mine were given to me by either my aunt or hubby’s aunt and they are decades old. We’ve thinned, replanted and whatever and we never know if they’ll bloom or not. It’s one of my favorite flowers and I have no luck with any consistency. LOL!

I imagine they’ll be later, too, but I’m keeping an eye out for bud stems shooting up.

The irises Dad sent are in two beds - one on each side of the front porch. There are other irises in beds that were here before I moved to the farm. Many different colors and they bloom at different times, like the daffodils.

I used to be the “black death” to plants but though I don’t exactly have a green thumb, I don’t kill them off any more. LOL

I’ve never been good with plants. So enjoy your reprieve from being plant death. LOL!

I haven’t even watched any of the nests tonight. I do know that the President and First Lady in DC have 2 eggs now. I kind of forgot about them till earlier this week and saw one, and then she laid another one today. More bobbleheads before long!

It took a loooooong time to reach the point plants survived my care. LOL
Still no good with veggie gardens and after two attempts, I gave up.

I’ve been bouncing from one nest to the next most of the night, checking in on everyone. Hoping to see more storks show up at their nests.
I did see Bubo make an appearance at his nest but still no Ms. Bo. I hope nothing happened to her.

I’m glad you saw him! I went back through the video and I didn’t see him in any of the frames. I sure wish she’d get her act together. Of course, I hope nothing has happened to her, too.

I guess I’d better head out. Enjoy your event tomorrow evening. I look forward to hearing how it went! Nite for now! :)

I only saw him because there was one post in chat and they mentioned it. He didn’t land on the nest - - was on a branch just at the edge. He sat and called for a few minutes and left.

Now have the 2nd Latvian eagles up. Hoo-hoo bird calling. :-)

Good night and sleep well. Hope you have a good day tomorrow.
And hoping the rain here doesn’t put a damper on the event in the afternoon. We all want a good turnout of folks to honor the veterans.

One day at a time!

The twins (4 years old grand-nephews of mine) were blowing bubbles outdoors in the yard in the beautiful spring air. To facilitate the giant bubble-blowing, their grandpa(my BIL) filled the birdbath with soapy water.

Later that evening, we had a campfire in the yard and were sitting around in the moonlight, when Penny moseyed over to the birdbath for a nice, refreshing drink.

Argh! She went crazy trying to get the soapy taste out of her moth!

This morning she had doggie-diarrhea, but waited for her morning walk.

Now she’s all cleaned out....and she hadn’t even said a swear word!

Blue should be coming home next week, I think!

I think I heard the hoo-hoo bird on the Latvian nest. Not sure. LOL! It’s a pretty site, though.

Not sure who you mean, but before I inherited the ping list, it was sent out by 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub. He never recovered from a stroke in 2007

I don’t remember his handle but that might be him. I remember him in the late 1990’s here. He had a Chinese name I believe.
