LGBT activists wasted no time in attacking President Donald Trump's new pick to run the State Department, CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

"Mike Pompeo's longstanding opposition to LGBTQ equality makes him a reckless choice to lead our nation's diplomatic efforts," Chad Griffin, president of the LGBT group Human Rights Campaign (HRC) said in a statement Tuesday.

"The decision to nominate anti-LGBTQ Mike Pompeo could have serious consequences for the United States and LGBTQ people around the globe. The State Department has a crucial role to play in advancing human rights — a role which was already rapidly declining under Tillerson. This decision has the potential to make a dire situation even worse. Pompeo does not deserve to be confirmed," Griffin declared.

Personally, I make a rather large distinction between human rights and LGBTQ rights. In dealing with other countries, I think there are issues far more important within the purview of US stance on human rights than the narrowly-defined agenda of the LGBTQ community. They have extended their US reach far beyond what is warranted in the US and to extend that even further outside the US would be a diplomatic waste of time given the pressing needs of so many other issues.

I heard on conservative talk radio that a recent examination of State Department finances showed lots of office space in the many consulates/embassies world-wide as undesignated. When it was asked what the space was used for—it was for LGBTQ task force groups.

The Obama administration, all around the world, literally made the USA a strong political/social advocate for sexual perversion......with large budgets, office space and personnel behind forcing sexual deviance on the rest of the world.

I’m not aware Tillerson changed this stuff....maybe Pompeo will.
