GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro City Council members are considering canceling the annual Gun and Knife Show in light of the recent mass shooting at a Florida high school.
Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughn told NBC affiliate WXII that the entire City Council is in support of canceling the show, scheduled for Aug. 25 through Aug. 26 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Vaughn, who describes herself as a gun owner, said the idea came about in response to a conversation she had with her daughter, a high school student, about the Florida shooting that left 17 people dead.
“As a council, we thought about it and I think it’s well thought out,” Vaughn said. We are not saying to the rightful gun store within our city that we want them to stop doing business as they are, but we are saying as a city that we don’t have to do it in our coliseum.

Why don’t they cancel schools?
Students are the mass murderers.
You bet it is illegal.
Greensboro City Council says the taxpaying citizens of Greensboro can not have a Gun Show at the Greensboro Coliseum that is supported by the taxes being paid by those very same taxpaying citizens of Greensboro?
If they get it canceled everyone that was going to go to the gun show should show up at the next Greensboro City Council meeting and surround the building blowing horns and beating on drums while playing patriotic music through bullhorns.

This happened in California back in the ‘90s. The gun show promoters and citizens are SOL, unfortunately.
They could just rename it:
“The Bacon Burger, Pass the Ammo Show.”
More people are given first aid due to knife cuts than being wounded by a bullet. Hunting knives, kitchen knives, Xacto knives, even some automatic ones where they are allowed. People have to protect themselves from being cut by a knife, too much blood has been spilled because of them, even small children were victims of knife cuts. Write your liberal congressman to act on Knife registrations and background checks. Knife users should be licensed.

Besides examining the conduct and arrangements of the Broward county sheriff’s dept performance failures. A dramatic reduction in disciplinary incidents at Parkside were reported after the selection of Obama’s Chicago friend as school superintendent occurred which was publicly acclaimed.
Because that school district was receiving large grant money from Obama’s Attorney General because of those results. That many critics claimed encouraged criminal activity. Which should require Trump Administration US Attorney General beside find out why when the FBI knew that Cruz who should not been able to purchase weapons did. And review these grant programs instituted by the previous Obama administration.

I have met a few people over the years who were very seriously wounded by someone with a knife, and they all considered people who don't take knives as seriously as guns to be idiots. I was one of those idiots until I wised up.

Greensboro patriots should consider canceling the city council, if North Carolina is a home rule state.
A home rule state allows resident voters to cut a petition to force every member of the council to stand again for re-election. It involves creating a petition for re-election and passing it around for signatures.
If enough citizens sign the petition (the percentage is determined by state law), then council members must stand for election, usually within 90 days.
Patriots run a candidate to oppose the leftist weenie. If the patriot gets more votes than the Social Justice Wimp, the commie is immediately removed from office.
It’s very effective. We used this tactic with great success in Michigan.
Greensboro has a mild progressive streak that’s not too wide but very deep, goes back to Quaker settler roots. Also a large black community and for the south a large Jewish community and they ain’t orthodox. Several good-sized universities too, and that skews things, especially the Quaker-established Guilford College. They’ve managed in the recent past in Greensboro to elect a Republican mayor but there are definite limits to just how outright convervative an elected city official can be and hope to remain in office. Same goes for the US House of Representatives seat long held by the late Republican Howard Cable, a fine man and a beloved Representative who was very cagey about how far he could push things. So, I’m not saying it’s hopeless but we’re not talking a red city here, the whole county has been blue for quite some time.

The electoral mechanics to remove these leftist city council members still stands, if North Carolina is a home rule state. All it takes is starting a removal petition to get the ball rolling. It’s very effective because the recall election comes up quickly, and a motivated patriot base of voters can pull this off.
We did this a number of times in Michigan cities and threw every leftist off the city council.
You wish, but it is not. Why are you like a liberal, in that something has to be shown by the government in order to be seen?
