Cannabis users are more likely to experience negative emotions, particularly feeling alienated from others, new research reveals. People who use marijuana are significantly more likely to feel that others wish them harm or are deceiving them, a US study found. Brain scans also reveal the class-B drug increases signal connectivity in regions of the brain that have previously been linked to psychosis, the research adds, which is associated with severe depression.

dt’s
Delirium tremens (DTs) is a state of confusion of rapid onset that is usually caused by withdrawal from alcohol. If it occurs it is often three days into the withdrawal symptoms and lasts two to three days. People may also see or hear things other people do not.

I smoked maybe two dozen times, late 70s. I had immediate symptoms. more vivid colors like at traffic lights. Giggles. munchies (which i have all the time anyway) Never paranoia. My neighbors got stash for free and they ere never paranoid. maybe the opposite. They smoked almost every day for the time we were there (about 18 months).

No. Way.

And to think my native state and where I now live - USSR-WA - just legalized it. Who would have thought that putting drugs into your body would cause mental problems?

Oh - and now Seattle wants to have “safe” heroin injection sites. That will end well. /s

Well, it makes sense that the chicken came first, so let’s put that question to bed right now.

The drug part? Who knows?

My experience with marijuana was that whenever I smoked it, police cars always followed me. Even the the ones with no markings. No matter where I drove, there was always a cop behind me.

Apparently they knew when I stopped, because it doesn’t happen any more.

Isn’t ‘deceived and alienated’ a hallmark of the relationship between republicans and many of their politicians?

Why would being deceived and alienated matter? They got their pot... all is right in their world.

Couch locked all day pot users have what I always thought of as an instant negative response syndrome

Kind of like post menopausal wives

Shrinks call it oppositional disorder

Amotivational disorder and tedious narcissism too

Minor personality disorders associated with folks who stay intoxicated on marihuana

That and procrastination syndrome which is part of amotivationalism

It doesn’t happen to everyone though

Me for example from age 14-27

Nothing could stifle me but it could some

I smoked all day every day but I have a close immediate family member couch locked stoned all day everyday watching life happen

"Probably would have as a kid but asthma kept me from smoking anything.

Probably just as well.
"

Just as well for sure. I know of several pot smokers of around 60 who were healthy when they were young. But they're all on oxygen now and have said that they're still smoking it. Very sad. Many of those around my age died from accidents involving intoxication and other drug-related problems during the late '70s.

Problems related to drug abuse including alcoholism and promiscuity will take a large part of the current younger white generation with early deaths.
