The Dow Jones Industrial Average crossed the 26,000 point milestone at the opening bell on Tuesday.
The Dow made the latest 1,000 point milestone move in a record-setting seven sessions, breaking the previous record of moving 1,000 points in 23 sessions. That record was set when the Dow moved from 24,000 to 25,000.
"Investors smell profit, more and more from American corporations. And that's the bedrock for stock prices," Stuart Varney said on "Fox & Friends."

I thinks it’s very splicable.............
It’s not “inexplicable” in the slightest. It’s a freaking COUP going on, Varney. The Ruling Class wants Trump OUT!
Wake the **** up!
Here’s one opinion:

It may go on for quite a while.
25,946.63 +143.44It's 120 points off the high for the day, but it's still a good day.
Just you wait. One of these days the market will “CRASH” and plummet $11.25 and the MSM will come up with screaming headlines trumpeting Trump’s failure.
The headlines will be HUGE type across the front pages and the Network news will feature teary eyed “reporters” bewailing investors diving from windows. Huge /s indeed.
Agreed, and market watchers think there are a number of reasons to think this market is still headed up for a while.
“Varney on Dow Hitting 26,000: ‘Inexplicable’ That Mainstream Media Ignores Rally”
Big Media did its best, but couldn’t find a single way to credit their god the Fraud with this event, so they just concentrated on attacking Americans for electing President Trump instead.
A high market is a sure sign of racism.
The biggest threat to global socialism is an informed and wealthy middle class. Trump is making most of us more prosperous; the “informed” part will take more timem
If you think of media as Democratic operatives with bylines, all becomes explicable.
Pent up demand.... 8 years of Obama’s regulatory governor throttled the economy and a relatively weak economy for 8 years before that... Making up for a lot of lost time.
For how many years now, 10? 20? or more?, has there been the pent up frustration of corporations having money locked away overseas, essentially doing nothing?
Now that the floodgates are opened, the monies will pour into America, not just from American offshore accounts, but foreign corporation accounts as well.
They want a piece of the American action.......................
Maybe they’re not talking about it to their listeners on the plantation, but you can bet your bippy they all have been fully invested since Nov 9m 2016.
If you’re going to be a hypocrite, may as well go all the way!
The market has done so well this past year that there is plenty of room to drop should a correction occur. A few hundred points wouldnt be devastating.
It’s not just the money overseas either. We’ve been charging high rates on corporate earnings here too, not just the potential repatriated funds.
Hey, the U. S. is open for bidness. Need to talk in terms Obama might have a chance of grasping.
I agree with that.
I can’t remember seeing a market over 14 months that looked anything like this. I haven’t seen much except perhaps a day or two of correction during that period.
The last day or so I was nosing around, and it seems just about everyone agrees that indications are, it’s still set to go higher.
Of course there are still those folks who have a program to sell, doomsday is just ahead,... I’ve been seeing those folks out there since I was a kid, 50 years ago.
See the following portion of Edmund Burke's 1775 "Speech on Conciliation with the Colonies. . . ." before the British Parliament--a speech which dwelt, at length, on the economic superiority of the American colonies, and in which he attributed that economic achievement to what he called "the spirit of liberty": "In other countries, the people, more simple, and of a less mercurial cast, judge of an ill principle in government only by an actual grievance; here they anticipate the evil, and judge of the pressure of the grievance by the badness of the principle. They augur misgovernment at a distance, and snuff the approach of tyranny in every tainted breeze." - Edmund Burke, 1775
The purpose of the MSM is to cover a story ...
... with a pillow, until it stops moving.
Remember during bammy’s reign, how the media always hyped the unemployment report? if it went down from 8.5 to 8.4 they had a party and a media orgasm.
