Theres been a huge development in the ongoing struggle to protect the Dreamers, the beneficiaries whose immigration status is protected under DACA.
U.S. District Judge William Alsup of in San Francisco just issued an injunction blocking the Trump Administration from ending the program as it announced it would do in September.

Why do these off-the-charts ludicrous court rulings (requiring legal challenges and delays) only come from the left?
>
What a joke. That will be overturned easily. The executive order cannot be overturned with an executive order? Absurd.ignore that bastard.
>
Sweet baby, Jeezus. No offense, but can we articulate our case(s) by their ROOT(s)?!?: NO ‘executive order’ (should) have the force of law, ‘making’ nor ‘subverting’. No such (lawful) authority or power exists.
Course, to bring up said point would fell the house of cards. I doubt it’d even ‘be allowed’ in any court filings, procedures, remarks, etc.
1) Trump, IMO, has been TOO quiet re: PROPER Exec. powers. He should be LOUD, clear and OFTEN.
2) Trump, too, has been TOO quiet calling out CONGRESS re: judicial activism. If anything, calling for breaking up the 9th as the ‘most over-turned in the system’.
I expect no less from the Trump, don’t recall any great articulations of our Constitution, and even LESS from his Uniparty advisors. I’m holding out hope for a ‘great cleansing’ of the Exec. (DOJ/FBI/etc.) should he ever decide WHICH straw is the ‘final’.

The solution is simple - constitutional excoriation of rogue justices. Those who brazenly violate original intent should be not only removed but hazed like college freshmen.
Let’s have fun at their expense. I’m serious, but through an amendment, making it legal.
Our education system is so messed up that senators have claimed [for GENERATIONS] that a court opinion is not a reason to remove a judge.
The Judiciary is a fickle mistress.
I agree, and so does Ted Cruz by the way. Ignore unconstitutional rulings. Expose them for their sheer absurdity, and dare congress to impeach you.
Only problem is that the DOJ might arrest anyone under the President who agrees with Trump and breaks the ‘law’. He could pardon them and have a volunteer group do things [not Federal employees], but it would be messy.
“U.S. District Judge William Alsup of in San Francisco”
Funny, I didn’t realize District Judge is a higher position than President. Weird.
If I were Trump, I would go scorched earth on Demorats. I would tell them that after this, I will sign nothing regarding DACA unless my desires are met.
Still have to fund it, though.
Agree. Send Fuhrer Alsop to Gitmo. Obama opened up a lot of space.
Barky ignored the court in NO when he stopped drilling operations in the Gulf after the BP mess. Trump should ignore this asshole as well.
This business of judges fighting against the lawful actions of the President is out of hand. Needs to stop and stop now.
Like someone said, how many divisions can this judge call up?
There are some good FReepers in Kalifornication but I’d be happy to see the whole state drop into the Pacific.
A Rat hack judge trying to take away Trump’s leverage in the middle of the immigration bill’s negotiations. Outrages and should be grounds for removal.
Or maybe an immediate and direct response to the leaked email saying that the democrats’ electoral future depends on DACA...
Actually, I wouldn’t mind if a judge gave CA to Mexico. It would get rid of CA and would be quicker than helping CA secede.
Unfortunately, he just effectively ruled that Mexico is part of CA, which is a totally different story.
Trump and Sessions should ignore the ruling and press forward.
So, the original DACA ruling by a federal judge was that it was improperly implemented by Obama, but the converse is also improper?
What universe have we fallen into?
The Dems deem executive orders become part of the Constitution when Dem presidents sign them. Look as all the recent examples? Trannies in the military, restrooms and all private facilities open to all sexes, etc.
Rave on, Bro.
I’m with you.
