. Marijuana does no more for a sickness than a shot of cheap whiskey.

....and you just made the case for legalization.

Good. It’s a hoax anyway; nothing the least bit medical about it.

per article: 'This is a wake-up call for American people who believe in freedom," Rohrabacher said.'

My, my. my! What a sudden resurgence of patriotism from those legendary defenders of freedom! Now what's buddy-boy's opinion of the 2nd Amendment?

To say nothing about the efficacy of CBDs in pain relief and seizure control.

It's right up there with another oxymoron: pothead logic. :)

I dont think so. I think most of that is contrived to create a false narrative. That is just my opinion. Anyway its illegal. We have a procedure to change laws. If that procedure is followed,I’m fine with that. I would still never use marijuana because it causes cancer but so did cigarettes and they are still legal.

Rohrbacher is given an 'A' rating by the NRA - here's his summary on 2nd amendment issues.

That misses the point. There’s hundreds of different chemicals in pot. We don’t understand them. The oils have been shown to help epilepsy, I believe it is beyond statistical noise...people swear by it - including the parents of kids having the problem. It doesn’t mean they get high - but to put a halt to related science isn’t a good idea.

It will call attention to the law of the land that has no exceptions for using illegal drugs. There are none and there should be none in my opinion.

But are those laws legitimate? The Constitution had to be amended to allow prohibition of alcohol… what analogous amendment exists for the War on Drugs?

Marijuana does no more for a sickness than a shot of cheap whiskey. Never cured a single ailment.

Apparently you've never had a bad case of strep-throat. I had it so bad that I almost couldn't swallow because of the pain, a bit of whiskey first allowed me to actually drink water.

I was worried Session would focus on trivial things like Treason and Sedition.

LOL — You win the thread.

Never cured a single ailment.

Cured, perhaps not, but there certainly are those who benefit by using it medicinally.

But those who went the extra mile to legalize it for recreational usage are the ones really to blame here for creating issues now with medical marijuana usage.

The NRA gives him an ‘A’ => http://www.ontheissues.org/CA/Dana_Rohrabacher_Gun_Control.htm

Now, what’s your opinion of the Tenth Amendment?

So it’s ok with you that fedgov walks all over the Tenth Amendment?

Not really sure why people are so intentionally ignorant of the beneficial uses of the substance.

Is it abused? Yes, just like almost every other substance and many other things in this world.

Whether or not a person becomes a substance abuser is a problem within that individual and their inability to master their own appetites. No one else can solve those types of problems within a person except for that person and Jesus.

To deny people who need a substance simply because other people may choose to abuse that substance is stupid IMO.

Perhaps medical marijuana should have been dispensed at drug stores like other prescription drugs instead of these pot shops that independently owned.

_________

Bushit. Blame fedgov for usurping legitimate state authority under the 10th via the fraudulent use of the Commerce Clause. You know, the one that allowed fedgov to control health care, the environment, education et al.

Are you’re okay with this?
