of course they did not legalize it with the FEDS. That is who counts.

Whiskey works fine and it is actually legal.

Pot is at risk but Hillary, Comey , Lerner and all the legions of Obama criminals are perfectly safe as long as Sessions remains AG.

I am totally for science. None of it has been proven and marijuana is illegal . It is a brain killer and a gateway to more criminal behavior. If you have pain, take a legally prescribed pain killer not in violation of the superior law.

Never cured a single ailment.

An utterly meaningless point.
The vast majority of medications, both Rx and OTC, do not cure anything.

My friend who used it had a hard time getting the type that worked for her.

She was a nurse and I think she would have preferred hers being regulated and from a drug store so that she knew the ingredients and the doseage.

Either change the federal law, or enforce it.

I am ok with either one.

Sessions stated the DOJ will not prosecute Lois Lerner due to lack of evidence. That is complete nonsense. He let her go cause he has ZERO intent to prosecute ANYONE who worked in the Obama Administration. Sessions inaction on an endless list of high crimes of the previous administration makes him a possible part of the cover up. Jeff sessions is protecting Obama era criminals. Time for him to be forced to resign. Obama criminals including Hillary do not need any more investigation, they need to be prosecuted and sent to jail.

I knew of a woman that wouldn’t even consider weed for her chemo nausea. She’ d rather have gone to restaurants and vomited, which she did. Her husband was a drunk cop who smoked cigarettes but hid it from her, and her son and DIL were proud dopers. Didn’t care for the “dirty hippie” stigma
Some of these folks think people just started smoking when it became legal. That’s crap. They’ve been surrounded by these “bad people” all along and not known it, so how bad can they be?

Morphine doesn’t stimulate the appetite, it actually represses it and causes gastric distress. I know this one first hand having had four major lower back surgeries and after the first one I refused morphine!

A point here.

There are more people dying from opiod addiction, often with a prescription, than from MJ.

Of the two, I would rather they use marijuana. Oxycodone has killed more people last year than meth.

Not in favor of legal MJ being sold in gas stations. I am also not in favor the “pill shops” handing out scripts like candy. Heck, I had to almost yell at a doc in the box that I didn’t need Vicoden for my swelled up thumb.

There are far worse drugs that are legal. You’re repeating old & outdated information. It’s not a “brain killer” and wouldn’t be criminal if it weren’t illegal. Being legal doesn’t make something morally ok the same way that just because something is illegal doesn’t make it, automatically, morally wrong. I’ll differentiate between moral and legal, so I don’t agree that it is a “gateway to more criminal behavior”. That’s like saying during prohibition that having a drink was also. It isn’t just about pain, the oils also assist with epilepsy. There’s hundreds of chemicals in it that we know very little about BECAUSE it is illegal. So how might one prove what uses it might have?

Not only is this completely illogical it is also not politically smart. Younger generations (including mine, I’m no spring chicken) do not see this as older generations. There’s far more important things to go after and this’ll just alienate many that might otherwise be (and vote) conservative.

If anything, what was taught in high school was detrimental in other ways. It was so demonized as though it were as bad as cocaine or heroin that many kids, whom were already smoking pot, came to the conclusion that maybe these other drugs weren’t as bad as reported. The pot narrative was a joke, almost everyone had tried it and many smoked it frequently. I’ve always wondered how many tried more harmful drugs because of this. If anything, cigarettes are the gateway drug - which are also physically addictive, which pot is not.

I think that is reasonable . Abuse of opioids is 90 % illegal also and is not permitted either. Opioids administered my licensed physician are legal under federal law. Marijuana absolutely is not.

Agree. I hate being on the same side as the libs on this issue. But, it is a matter of freedom. Just leave it to the states to legalize it or not. The fight from our side to keep this a schedule I drug is a farce.

"Marijuana does no more for a sickness than a shot of cheap whiskey. Never cured a single ailment."

You are so right! Local potheads on Social Security disability and other welfare say that they need medical marijuana, because they get depressed after running out of pot.
