BREAKING: Senator Lindsey Graham Just Confirmed The Steele Dossier Was Used For 2016 FISA Warrant…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 12/30/17 | Sundance

Posted on 12/29/2017 10:26:26 PM PST by Teflonic

Everyone suspected the sketchy Steele Dossier was what corrupt FBI and DOJ officials used to get the October 2016 FISA warrant against Trump. FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly.

Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump. UNTIL NOW.

Senator Lindsey Graham just confirmed the sketchy Steele Dossier was used to get the wiretap and surveillance warrant from the FISA court. Brian Kilmead understood what he was hearing was serious, but didn’t quite catch the specific gravity of it. Watch at 04:10

…The back-story to the FISA warrant is the cornerstone. The back-story contains both the FBI and the DOJ scheme. Expose it, remove it, and the entire ‘muh Russia conspiracy’ collapses under the weight of sunlight…

This is critical and important because the specific use of the Steele Dossier underpins the BIG UGLY and exposes the entire top-tier apparatus of the FBI Counterintelligence Division (Peter Strzok, Bill Priestap, James Baker, Andrew McCabe) and the DOJ National Security Division (John Carlin, Stuart Evans, Mary McCord and Sally Yates), as well as DOJ Bruce Ohr and FBI lawyer Lisa Page directly to “conspiracy” charges.

The 2016 FBI counterintelligence operation was surveillance on the Trump Campaign and was thinly disguised under the fraudulent auspices of a FISA warrant, sold as a defense of U.S. democracy from Russia, which permitted the wiretaps and surveillance etc.

... will the alphabet (fake) news agencies finally report on any of this stuff?

Not bloody likely.

They're damn co-conspirators in every bit of it plus some things we haven't even heard or thought about.

Yet.

Graham saying something against McCain's interests? That's more shocking than Teller suddenly shouting "Save Me! Save Me!" as Penn drags him off the stage.

Not shocking at all. McCain's power is dwindling daily. It is all about power in D.C. and Graham is looking around for someone with power to throw him a lifeline. Power is shifting, he is not sure which way to jump at this point.

“Q” is an individual (or team) inside the Trump administration...

Stop right there. What is your proof of your premise? They guy is not batting anywhere near 1,000, if you know what that means.

You said it all when you said he can’t be trusted. The thing is he wasn’t even McCain’s man...it was all about the power- then and now. He will shift whichever way the wind is blowing and can never be trusted by anyone.

"Can someone enlighten me about the FISA court? If the members of the FISA determine they were given bogus information, do they have any recourse to take action against those who presented the sworn testimony?...." -----------------------------------------

The FISA Court is a three member group of the eleven appointed members mentioned in the link. While it was originally intended to assist collection of information on foreign agents, it has morphed into a free pass for the NSA and the FBI to do anything they please. The WSJ article mentions that of over 18,000 requests received for surveillance they have rejected a grand total of ......4. Most are Clinton appointees sitting on district or appellate courts and the most chilling part of the whole thing is....they are without any oversight. None. Not the US Congress or even the Supreme Court.

They have developed their own secret set of procedures governing their actions and the uses which the law enforcement and Federal employees are (supposedly) governed by. They have evolved a whole new set of justifications to circumvent the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.

Congress brought them to life through enabling legislation and to be honest the best and bravest thing to do with the FISA Court would be to dis-enable it ....completely. The NSA can monitor foreign agents through the Executive Branch and be subject to oversight. The FBI should be concerned with domestic crimes, make use of existing Federal Courts which are subject to review and quit their abuse of civil liberties of US citizens by using this invitation to circumvent the law and Constitutional guarantees.

Another poster mentioned that someone had to sign and take an oath on the FISA application. I seriously doubt that person's name will ever come to light and we the public will never see it. The rules governing the FISA Court procedures are so black that the FBI or NSA is probably not required to provide that information. It may implicate wrong doing undoubtedly but they will shield themselves from prosecution by using that enabling legislation as amended and modified along the way. There is no oversight of the FISA Court system and it should be done away with ...with great prejudice.

If the Dossier actually was used to obtain the FISA warrant, why can’t he just say those words out loud, then demand that a special prosecutor investigate?

Probably because they admitted that it was in a classified briefing and he is not allowed to reveal classified information. Trump is not allowed to either except in exceptional cases, and Trump follows the law (and likewise his appointees like Sessions).

What are the rest of the Republicans on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees waiting for?

Waiting for declassification.

Of all people, why would this senator be the one to make the announcement? This is kind of betraying his boyfriend isn’t it?

Given President Donald Trump's emergency Executive Order, you know, about pedophilia and human trafficking, and the knowledge that 'a lot of bad guys are going to Gitmo'...

either Linda Grahamnesty knows or fears they found out something about him (or that someone will spill the beans), *or* he's lost his overhead political air cover.

Our countrymen need to know and understand that under Obama and past administrations the FBI and intelligence community have been corrupted into a law unto themselves, riddled with traitorous criminals and a threat to our nation’s survival.

This must be rooted out or our Nation will die.

Supposedly now you can even hook up laptops or other devices now to send large encrypted messges over the ham airwaves, which could include encrypted voice comms. Add into that the coded words you mentioned and it could be more than trivial for anyone including NSA to acquire and decifer.

“This is kind of betraying his boyfriend isn’t it?”

Actually, it protects McCain. McCain has nothing to do with the FISA warrants. That is the crime. Now they will have to work backwards and by the time they get to how this document came into the hands of McCain, he will probably have passed away.

What Graham did might be McCain’s last wishes as absolution for being such a d-bag over the years. Like Chavez asking God to forgive him.

What are the rest of the Republicans on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees waiting for?

They were *complicit* in it.

Therefore, they can't demand TOO loudly, since their participation will come to light.

But after having blindly whipped DC and the press into a monomania over "Muh Russian Collusion" for over a year, they CANNOT go "Oh, well, never mind, then."

Their only hope was a race against time, to create a drumbeat for impeachment based on FEELZ, before it came out there was nothing to it.

But President Trump has enough, on enough of them (~4000 sealed indictments: one of them was unsealed a couple of days ago, a Massachusetts State Senator, 113 Federal counts of stuff like racketeering, money laundering, extortion)...

Which is what Sessions and President Trump have been doing: setting things up to attack all the lower cast members, the foot soldiers, of the swamp at once, and now going after their funding from Soros, The Saudis, and if QAnon is right, the Rothschilds.

Ever notice how the "day of rage" in early Nov. to protest against the Trump Presidency, didn't happen, right after the power in Saudi Arabia flipped?

And now the King of Jordan has dismissed 3 of his brothers, and there are anti-regime riots throughout Iran.

McStain is in the middle of this. Lindsey is McStain’s BFF. Are the rats starting to jump off the ship?

I would add Flakey McFlake Flake and other NeverTrumpers to that list of political assassins and the do-conspirators

Statements like post 2 are garbage that have no place in an intelligent discussion. Unclean, vulgar, of the baser sort, they reflect a defect in character and clog up a website with a real mission.

Sen. Graham is a perfect messenger that the Obsama DOJ misused a partisan and false opposition research document (Steele Dossier) to improperly obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the presidential candidate/campaign of the other party. It is so much worse than Watergate. Sen. Graham is regarded as a more moderate and less partisan Republican so more of the general public will listen to him more than to some other Republican like Sen. Cruz.

That’s why WE have got to GET INVOLVED in our local Republican chapters, county units and public schools, to get them under our majority control, and get our state RNCs under our majority control.

Don’t expect Trump to do this alone. Trump for top down, we the people for bottom up.

The reality is quite obvious...

The reality I see is this Q figure is developing a cult-like following, that refuses to listen to reason, or respond to honest questions about his integrity. You've not done much to change that.
