It’s not a good sign when you discover that everybody in a diversity workshop thinks the same way.

As the group got organized online, one member shared a screen grab from her Facebook feed, in which a stream of self-appointed diversity advocates pounced on a young woman who had shared her happiness about graduating from medical school. Almost immediately, someone minimized her accomplishment by attributing much of it to “white privilege.” The new doctor struck back, pointing out that she’d climbed out of foster care and had worked her way through college. But to the diversity Puritans, she had no right to celebrate what they labeled an ill-gotten accomplishment achieved in no small part by her white skin. Their glee in condemning her was exceeded only by their mutual congratulations for being so brave to bully her.

It doesn't matter what this word is supposed to mean. Sure, you can take a class, look it up on the web, contact academics. They will all tell you what “intersectionality” is supposed to mean.
But it will all be lies.
Let me help you out:
Intersectionality = "I hate White people".
Black Lives Matter = "I hate White people".
Feminism = "I hate people who don't want me to kill babies".
Progressivism = "I hate people and want to kill them".
She said it was supposed to be based on a diverse background and experience, and not race/ethnicity/sex/sexual orientation. I asked how they tracked whether or not they were being diverse enough. She said by race/ethnicity/sex/sexual orientation...
Then she realized what she just said was contradictory and tried to explain it some other way that was a regurgitation of the same thing, but with more Pointy-Haired-Boss-speak.
Diversity is a weapon to divide.
...none of us are just “Americans”. We have to be male/female, gay/straight, black/white, etc.. All so we can be pitted against each other. The left only celebrates what makes us different, not that which makes us the same. It is all part of the effort to attack this country, divide and conquer.
The author gets a little squishy towards the end, but a good read overall.
This site is social media. Maoism is a bad idea.
What saved me was that there was a directive to make everyone take the course, but no directive to make everyone pass the course. There was a lot of scirmishing back and forth, but I did not have to take the course again.
"Sustainability" is another one of these idiotic, faddish terms that now pollutes the vocabulary of corporate America.

Affirmative action wasn’t enough? Reparations? Ha! If anything, blacks still owe us for taking their sorry butts out of the jungle. Western white men are the only ones who have ever abolished slavery, yet to hear this monkey you’d think we invented it. I’m afraid one of my size 12 priviledged boots would find itself up her entitled ass. I’ve listened to it for all my life. I’m done with you. Sink or swim. (Wait, that was racist...they generally can’t swim)
I skimmed the column and it read like she was kicked out and agreed with being kicked out because she couldn’t have the same experiences.
Sort of like blaming herself for being raped but not that because that would be a man’s fault. In her view, women of color can never be at fault so it must be her fault.
I would have liked to have been able to read the comments.
Social media isn’t a bad idea, people not bothering to learn to be polite is a bad idea.
I’d wear that as a badge of honor.
I think it goes beyond politeness in this case. These people are loons.
Probably seeking to avoid being crucified on Twitter but that’s what’s going to happen to her anyway.
I will go one step further:
“Diversity” is a weapon created by the left, and designed to weaken, coarsen, and ultimately destroy Western Civilization.
Destroy White people and you destroy Western Civilization.
Sustainability means a separate trash can for the coke cans and water bottles.
