Shawn Hannity did a number on Judge Roy Moore Senatorial campaign. Candidate Roy Moore allowed himself to be bushwhacked in a telephone interrogation on national television.
Hannnity acted as a prosecutor during the interview. How many Democrats when faced with a sexual scandal, encountered a prosecutorial styled interview? I cannot think of any.
Do you remember Steve Kroft's interview of the Clinton's, which was later called the "Stand by Your Man" interview because of Hillary's defense of Bill Clinton? They were all soft ball questions with no follow up. I wanted to smash my television! I wanted to smash my television because it was evident this was a damage control interview designed to put to rest the allegations of Bill Clinton's mistreatment of women.
Why did Hannity participate in the dismantling of Roy Moore? Did someone from the deep state give him a call? Why did Roy Moore agree to such a inquisition? I have to admit, the answers Moore gave were indeed creepy.
Never a prosecutorial styled interview of a Democrat! Double standard, brought to us this time by Shawn Hannity.
Agree 100%!!
Nor is “the Clintons” spelled with an apostrophe unless the usage is possessive.
Hannity is just a bit player here. Levin nailed it this morning.
Hannity’s influence is insignificant. He is a weak person as rule, entirely too deferential to perceived power an influence. He showed a lot of resolve and courage in 2016, but that was an anomaly.

I saw the interview. Sean simply gave him a chance to tell his story and a platform from which to tell it, and Moore was squishy. Moore did this to himself.
Yep. Wasn’t Hannity. Wasn’t Moore. Wasn’t even the lack of support from the ePubs in congress (that lack of support probably helped Moore). And it wasn’t Trump’s support for Strange in the primary. It was the sex abuse allegations that made just enough Alabama voters queasy and give Jones the win.
And how many articles have you posted this morning my friend? I am in a rush to make the tennis court!
BTW, I always blame it on the spell checker. Any bad odors get blamed on the dog. That’s my policy, and I’m sticking to it!
Yep, Hannity had very little to do with this. Listen, if you want to run an ultra-conservative for these elections, I’m all for it, but dammit, you better vet them properly or this sh*t can happen. That’s what happened.
The Dems turned out en masse, The Republicans sat on their hands, for whatever reasons.
BUT, what this means for FUTURE elections is, from now on EVERY ELECTION they will dig up or create a SEX SCANDAL, real or fake it doesn’t matter, to defeat the (R) candidate.
They are emboldened, and will use this method at every turn. They will pay big bucks to have women or men come before the cameras teary-eyed and say, “THAT PERSON SEXUALLY HARASSED ME!” or some such twaddle........................
Moore did it to himself. Hannity put some questions to Moore in which the answers should have been categorically “no”. It’s not Hannity’s fault that Moore had a thing for teenagers while in his mid-30’s. The whole point of the Hannity interview was for Moore to clear his name. Moore failed.
f even 50% of the people who voted for Trump came out to support Moore, he would have won. The Democrats got out the vote, Moore did not.
Group connected to Soros and Obama pumped in at least 5 million dollars and most likely more than 10 million bucks to spend on the last 48 hrs of the campaign for get out the vote operations.
Thats a lot of walking around money to spend on the streets
Look, no one has been vociferous in excoriating McConnell, Rove, and Ryan for doing all they could to elect Jones, but I gotta tell you, Moore did himself absolutely no favors by allowing himself to be interviewed by a 12 year old girl. Whoever counseled this as a wise political move should be shot. Also, Moore did not help himself by coasting the last 10 days of the election.
Finally, as a personal note, it’s now Liberty Daily for me. Matt Drudge has demonstrated he has a single issue website.
Maybe. But I believe there are candidates that don’t have much of a history and are dam near bullet-proof. That and The Law of Diminishing Returns on sex assault scandals will start to have a say soon enough.

Wonder how many of those “ votes “ were paid to get on a bus and vote Jones....
...so how much were the negroes paid on an individual basis to vote for Jones?
Hmmm...???
No More PC, Huh???????????
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Yes they were anti Moore before the allegations which they helped with
Freepers forget
OK, and I agree, but no allegations of impropriety with women and he runs away in this election even if the Democrats spent 5 times that amount.
