WASHINGTON – Sen. Al Franken plans to stay in the U.S. Senate and try to win back Minnesotans’ trust.
The Minnesota Democrat, who has been accused by four women — two of them anonymously — of inappropriate contact, issued a Thanksgiving afternoon apology and pledge. He wrote that he “feels terribly that I’ve made some women feel badly.” He called himself “a warm person” who likes to hug people when they’re being photographed with him, but clearly, his embrace “crossed a line for some women.”

I was pretty sure he’s lost his “Franken’ privileges, but it looks like I was wrong.
Really, if (and probably when) the dimbulbcrats cheat their way back into the majority, our resistance will have to real. We are in trouble, folks, when a dimwit (and truly fugly) being like Franken not only becomes a member of the world’s most loathsome body, but he actually out loathsomes Dead Ted Kennedy.
How can it be called “allegations” when there are photos showing him doing it and smiling about it???

Somewhere a nutty liberal woman is wondering why Franken didn’t grope her. She’s thinking he needs to stay in office so she can get that chance to be a victim.

You are correct. The left, after the past years of absolute criminal insanity, cannot, can never be permitted to ascend to power. They will be the nightmare we always knew they were.

For some odd reason, I suspect that neither this newspaper nor any other in the biased media would print an article about “Judge Moore vows to regain trust” even though all the allegations against him are 40 years old, denied and unproven.
“I will personally grab the breasts of every man woman and child in Minnesota until they understand that I’m harmless.” Franken went on to say.
The Photo doesn’t count.
The photo is of a Saturday Night Live comedy routine writ live. SNL is free speech art exempt from such charges. In the photo, the Senator is acting, not harassing.

Every speech is prefaced with that wualifier.
Nothing gets the trust of a Minnesota Democrat like some cold, hard cash.

Franken is 66 years old and he's been a slime bucket his entire life.
What trust does he hope to regain?
Who ever trusted him to begin with?
Maybe the wife and kids, that's about it.
Conservatives never trusted him and democrats didn't care that he couldn't be trusted as long as he ran with the pack.
He had no compunction about stealing an election back in 2009.
Before that he had no compunction about groping a lady while she was asleep.
But now that he has been publicly outed as a sexual molester he discovered that he wants to be a good person?
So now he's going to change his ways?
He's a typical democrat - when they say they are sorry it only means they are sorry they got caught.
In other words, let him get away with what he did.
