Tickets for Redskins Thanksgiving game vs. Giants going for as little as $7

WASHINGTON - The playoff hopes for the Washington Redskins took a big hit Sunday after they lost to the New Orleans Saints and blew a 15-point fourth quarter lead in the process. After the loss, it appears the Redskins fan base is also reeling as well based off of the ticket prices for their next home game on Thanksgiving.
The Redskins will have a short turnaround this week as they will host the New York Giants at Fedex Field on Thursday. While the matchup will be a nationally televised battle between NFC East rivals, there are tickets available on the resale market for as little $7. Yes, that's right -- $7.
On the online ticket exchange site StubHub Monday afternoon, the cheapest ticket available for the game was going for $7.16 for a standing room-only spot in the upper deck of the stadium. While there are plenty of nosebleed seats available, there are some lower level seats also available going between $9 to $15.

Neither team is good right now -- and in the Giants' case they're awful -- but this is a game between two old NFC East division rivals that used to be a huge draw.
There's a good opportunity for some seriously entertaining incidents in the seats, though. This is the type of game where many season ticket-holders give their tickets away, and you often get people at the very bottom of the human food chain attending the game.
This was a classic late-season disaster from a New York Giants game some years ago, in a season where they were out of playoff contention long before the cold, snowy late-season games (start around the 1:17 mark):

Someone should buy up a whole sh!tload of those tickets and give them away as gifts to some inner-city fans who otherwise would never get to see a professional game. The results might be fun to watch.Horrible idea, for inner-city kids to witness first-hand their heroes slapping the country in the face with their anti-Americanism.

How quickly that controversy died; the Redskins’ owner probably told the NFL in no uncertain terms that between a boycott of patriots and one of racially aggrieved losers, he’d be bankrupt in weeks...

Why post anything about the NFL? The NFL is dead to a lot of us. Dead!

Why post anything about the NFL? Lower level seats to a Redskins game $9-$15 ??? I paid $130 for those same seats 2 years ago, and then, that was a deal.
This is how far the NFL has fallen - keep up the Boycott !!!

1. It's not clipping. Clipping is a block from behind
below the knees. The penalty there would be an illegal block in the back.
2. Having said that, it depends on where it is on the field. There's no penalty for a block in the back during "close-line play" -- generally defined as an area between the tackles and within three yards of the line of scrimmage.
