WASHINGTON - The playoff hopes for the Washington Redskins took a big hit Sunday after they lost to the New Orleans Saints and blew a 15-point fourth quarter lead in the process. After the loss, it appears the Redskins fan base is also reeling as well based off of the ticket prices for their next home game on Thanksgiving.
The Redskins will have a short turnaround this week as they will host the New York Giants at Fedex Field on Thursday. While the matchup will be a nationally televised battle between NFC East rivals, there are tickets available on the resale market for as little $7. Yes, that's right -- $7.
On the online ticket exchange site StubHub Monday afternoon, the cheapest ticket available for the game was going for $7.16 for a standing room-only spot in the upper deck of the stadium. While there are plenty of nosebleed seats available, there are some lower level seats also available going between $9 to $15.

Wow - Lower level seats $9 - $15, Thanksgiving Day !!! Colon Kaepernack - the gift that keeps on giving !!!
I haven’t been to a football game in decades, but I would NEVER go on Thanksgiving. I’m surprised they even play on that day, to be honest.
In this day and age it is harder and harder to find holidays where most, if not all, family members aren’t working. Couldn’t imagine being voluntarily absent from dinner for this...
They could GIVE those tickets away for free and I would still NOT GO. Start a tailgate party fire with them, no one cares.!
Did not read past the title. Who cares about their score much less tickets to their protest game.
Good. And no one’s protesting that “Redskins” is racist and demeaning to Indians?
At $7, it’s not so much scalping as just talking a bit off the top.
Is parking still $50? Anyway, I have to camp out at the (open all night) Walmart for black Friday. And the Redskins are racist!
Free isn't free. There are parking expenses, impossible cost of food, and getting to and from the game taking up most of the day.
In fact, I'd take the free tickets and would even buy them for $3 or less just to assure that the seats are empty.
Someone should buy up a whole sh!tload of those tickets and give them away as gifts to some inner-city fans who otherwise would never get to see a professional game. The results might be fun to watch.
Part of the problem there is that both teams suck.
Tickets for the next Iggles game start at $147.

There’s bound to be an old Jimmy Stewart movie on another channel...
A Hunter S. Thompson moment there.
I think scalping is more or less finished in the NFL. Will be interesting to see how they survive for the Super Bowl.
I would boycott this game on TV if I was at home but TGiving dinner is at the house of a Lefty relative.
Like all lefties, he never watches football so we won’t have an issue.
If the NFL hopes its virtue signaling will attract lefties they are burnt toast!
That is such a hilarious idea !!!
Black Friday? Is that the day when things are like really really inexpensive?
