I haven’t been to a football game in decades, but I would NEVER go on Thanksgiving. I’m surprised they even play on that day, to be honest.

In this day and age it is harder and harder to find holidays where most, if not all, family members aren’t working. Couldn’t imagine being voluntarily absent from dinner for this...

Good. And no one’s protesting that “Redskins” is racist and demeaning to Indians?

Our local high school rivalry game kicks off at 11 AM on Thanksgiving morning. The two schools are about four miles apart and many of the kids have known each other most of their lives. Last year both won their division State Championships; this year both lost in the semifinals. So it’s the last game for the seniors and the final game of the season for the others.
