With Video ----------------------- Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) admonished Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) for accusing Republicans of writing the tax bill "for the rich" at a late night hearing on amendments and markups. "With all due respect, I get sick and tired of the rich getting richer," Brown said in a diatribe against Republicans. "I come from the poor people, and I have been here working my whole stinkin' career for people who don't have a chance, and I really resent anybody that says I'm doing it for the rich. Give me a break. I think you guys overplay all the time, and it gets old. And frankly, you ought to quit it," Hatch told Brown. "What you said was not right," Hatch continued. "I come from the lower middle class, originally. We didn't have anything. So don't spew that stuff on me. I get a little tired of that crap. Let me just say something. If we worked together, we could pull this country out of every mess it is in. We could do a lot of the things that you are talking about, too. I think I have had reputation for working together." "I like you very much personally," Hatch said to Brown. "But this bullcrap that you guys throw out here really gets old after a while. And then to do it right at the end of this is just not right."

They dont hate the rich. They want to play on the jealousy of those who arent and make them hate the rich for votes.
“The Donald Effect.” Yep, why Trump was my pick after the first debate! We are sunk without his fearlessness.
Oh Utah will vote Romney in if he runs...Mormons stick together!
about friggin time..
“A few key statistics would have added real argument to the schoolyard taunts.”
Like this? Watch Hatch use statistics to prove Democrat obstruction.
GET A CLUE
This GOLDMAN SACHS BANKSTER MNUCHIN is one of the MF's that is behind this scheme to raise taxes on the upper Middle Class.
HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that he was attacking a strict 10 Commandments supporter. Right. I know what you mean but now they are caught in a catch 22.
Congratulations Orin.
You found your cojones!
My goodness...the transcript doesnt do this justice - the video is something else. Hatch gets so mad his voice is breaking up. He also starts slamming the gavel down repeatedly. Brown looks totally shell shocked that Hatch pushed back at him like that. They arent used to being called out on their bull crap and that is precisely what it is and always has been. They should never be allowed to get away with it.
Democrats work for the *existing* super rich and push for policies to keep other people from joining the club and getting on their turf, while promising to “provide” for the poor and enacting policies to keep the poor poor and continue the cycle. Existing companies have to keep merging to create bigger and bigger companies to pull resources and stay afloat with the high taxes and regulations and fewer new businesses can afford to start up. That’s the goal.

It is an older poll, but still good news. Mandel is State Treasurer. Josh Hawley is running ahead of McCaskill in Missouri. Both of them would also likely be very reliable votes. Note that Kasich said he might not be able to support Mandel in the race per that article. That man has abandoned everything he once stood for the sake of his own personal ego.
If their nonsense is legitimately called out they simply cannot handle it...there is never a reason to give in or play nice when they spew that nonsense.
Post of the day.
Brown is just a Marxist-Lite which goes with his Brain-Lite knowledge and mentality.
Hearing him speak is like listening to an old Nazi rail against the Jews, blaming them for everything. Same for the “rich” (which includes one helluva lot of Democrats).
Orin Hatch had ENOUGH of the dems liberal fascist Alinsky strategy , jingoisms.
Orin wants to govern, and Brown refused to let him.
Brown needs a swift upper cut the left jaw, and the public would be pleased to witness a glass jaw , eyes-rolling-back state of unconsciousness.
OUR nation SHALL NOT be ruled by jingoism. That’s the stuff of Robert Mugabe, not America.
EFF Brown and all of his sordid socialist Alinsky toting ba$tard colleagues. . I am beginning to detest them wholesale.
Zing! Thats a good one!
Showin off those BIG bills! Holla!
We’ll gradually be getting used to the sight, and so will the Dems. About friggin’ time.
Wow...Did Hatch pick up a set of Nads at a pawn shop or what??
“A few key statistics would have added real argument to the schoolyard taunts. The top 1 percent paid 40% of income taxes. That is more than the bottom 90% COMBINED, 29%. Think about that the top 1%, the very richest, pay almost HALF of federal income taxes. But dont forget the mantra the rich dont pay their share and the poor are getting screwed.
if people make more money than someone else wouldn’t you expect that they would also pay more taxes?
given that: the current tax proposals coming out of the house and senate are definitely a tax increase on the middle class tax payers. the elimination of most of the itemized deductions should be a deal killer to all those of our duly elected to represent us who vote them into office, and not as thank you gifts to those corporations who donate the fattest envelopes to their re-election campaigns.
so just as the cost of obamacare was being shouldered by all the healthy young people who had to sign up or pay a fine, this tax bill is being paid for by the average middle class taxpayer for the benefit of big permanent tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy. Touting this as a tax cut to all the middle class deplorables who elected Trump is the same as obama promising that you would save $2500 on your insurance premiums and could keep your doctor. This isn’t a tax cut, but a tax increase for the average American.
the standard deduction is being not quite doubled, but then they are eliminating the individual personal exemptions for yourself, your spouse and your dependents. so they give with one hand but take away with the other. in addition, they are eliminating the extra deduction for those over 65 or blind.
if you take the standard deduction, you cannot then itemize; therefore, giving up the normal deductions for medical expenses, long term care insurance expenses, state and local taxes, property taxes [under the senate bill], mortgage interest deduction limits, student loan interest deductions, moving expenses, alimony, dependent care assistance accounts, casualty and theft losses, unreimbursed job expenses and tax preparation fees.
Now look at its impact on the economic strata of taxpayers to see who benefits the most:
“...the highest-income taxpayers (0.1 percent of the population, or those with incomes over $3.7 million in 2016 dollars) would experience an average tax cut of nearly $1.1 million, over 14 percent of after-tax income. Households in the middle fifth of the income distribution would receive an average tax cut of $ 1,010, or 1.8 percent of after-tax income, while the poorest fifth of households would see their taxes go down an average of $110, or 0.8 percent of their after-tax income.”
