With Video ----------------------- Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) admonished Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) for accusing Republicans of writing the tax bill "for the rich" at a late night hearing on amendments and markups. "With all due respect, I get sick and tired of the rich getting richer," Brown said in a diatribe against Republicans. "I come from the poor people, and I have been here working my whole stinkin' career for people who don't have a chance, and I really resent anybody that says I'm doing it for the rich. Give me a break. I think you guys overplay all the time, and it gets old. And frankly, you ought to quit it," Hatch told Brown. "What you said was not right," Hatch continued. "I come from the lower middle class, originally. We didn't have anything. So don't spew that stuff on me. I get a little tired of that crap. Let me just say something. If we worked together, we could pull this country out of every mess it is in. We could do a lot of the things that you are talking about, too. I think I have had reputation for working together." "I like you very much personally," Hatch said to Brown. "But this bullcrap that you guys throw out here really gets old after a while. And then to do it right at the end of this is just not right."

A Republican senator with a backbone. What a refreshing change.
“A temporary moment of insanity.” He’ll quickly snap back into his normal behavior.
Nice to see him finally grow a pair.
OMG... someone actually fought back??? be still my heart...
How to repair the Senate —
Repeal the 17th amendment.
Make dueling legal.
WARNING!
Re-election spine fusion.
It’s hard to take Democrat lies on a daily basis for anyone. Even a Senator.
It doesn't bother me in the least if "the rich" get a tax cut and never has.
Too bad Hatch blew back with Nya, Nya, Nya I’m tired of your crap.
A few key statistics would have added real argument to the schoolyard taunts.
The top 1 percent paid 40% of income taxes. That is more than the bottom 90% COMBINED, 29%.
Think about that — the top 1%, the very richest, pay almost HALF of federal income taxes.
But don’t forget the mantra “the rich don’t pay their share” and “the poor are getting screwed.”
Good for him. He did a pretty good job. The Socialist bastards need to be taken to the wood shed.
That site is furious with my adblocker, frantically trying to give me stuff I don’t want.
“Democrats say Republicans are rushing the bill through Congress.”
Like the `rats railroaded Obamacare through late Christmas Eve, 2010?
The `rats and their GOP-e gang of five allies are just buttsore because 1. they lost, and 2. the GOP is finally awaking from its stupor and doing something.
Legislators actually legislating. Amazing.
Send the RINOs home next fall!
WARNING!
Re-election spine fusion.

Hatch is retiring.
Agreed..
Thank God... it's about time our guys stood up to vile democrats..
Brown is up for reelection in 2018. Hopefully the GOP will have a good candidate.
Brown is a full blown Leftist and his seat will be fully defended by the Dems.
And elect Jerry Miculek the next senator from Louisiana. Time to bring in a ringer if duels are legalized.
I’m tired of this BS. If it wasn’t for “da rich”, nobody would be paying taxes and the far left, DC politicians wouldn’t have any pork to offer their “voters”.
That is funny as hell. Great idea.
