The young woman was clearly in earshot when the boss said it to a group of male employees: That is the kind of ass I would tear up when I was your age. A male friend of mine quoted it back to me from a moment early in his career, while we were discussing the recent Harvey Weinstein allegations. He didnt speak up then, and he still doesnt speak up now when he witnesses sexual harassment in his office.
Ive never seen a person actually fired for it, he says. It sends a message to the observers, like, All youre going to do is hit a beehive. There will be no possible benefits for anyone involved.' Why kick up the dust? Instead, he makes a habit of checking in with female colleagues afterwards to see how theyre doing. They seem to brush it off. They have to go in knowing that its probably going to happen at some point.
What should. you do if you see a MALE co-worker harassed? Laugh?
You should move this to Breaking News.
By males, she-males, or real females?
These days you gotta ask.
Ever looked at a Cosmopolitan cover? Ever issue panders sex.
Well, how do you know is a female?
Maybe its actually Sisgender, inverteted, quasi, transectural.,
Why would you ever judge if someone is a female or a male? That is a prejudiced way of looking at people.
That very question is, ................ Racist.

Cosmo Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles is now fighting back, calling the campaign against her magazine sexist and a double standard since mens mags from GQ to Mens Health routinely run stories on sex, with accompanying cover lines.
While Victoria would like to talk it over with Coles, the editrix says no.
I have no time for a debate, said Coles. I am too busy putting out a magazine and encouraging American women to have more and better orgasms.
I see how some women dress at work. I won’t say they “deserve it”, but I’m not going to act surprised and outraged when they receive it.
LOL
Real harassment? I’d tell the punk to knock it off otherwise expect a meeting in the parking lot.
What is the point of living if you don’t do the right thing?
In other news, I was walking the other day and a couple girls on a park bench cat-called me and it made my day. Obviously they were just goofing around and were probably doing the same thing to every guy walking by, but it still made my day. In real cases of sexual harassment, do something. The rest of the time, lighten up Francis. Sheesh.
Real harassment?Define "real harassment".
You should move this to Breaking News.

Got that line working tonight, huh?
(I laughed both times I saw it!)
Women: Guess what? We all went through this in the early 1990s thanks to Anita Hill and the result was that men secretly wanted to avoid women at work because we're scared of you. You can ruin our lives for no good reason just be saying we looked at you funny. Now it's going to be worse than ever. Somehow making good men afraid is supposed to help women in the workforce.
What happens is this: If the woman feels she is being sexually harassed and goes to HR they will tell her to document each incident - write down every detail of what was said and who was present. The harasser thinks she’s “OK with it” while she is building the case against him, and all the bystanders will be in for uncomfortable discussions.
Agree with your post Uhtred (I assume that’s the reference in your nickname).
Words are harmless. Actually, it’s a compliment to the woman. How many females stand around and ogle and chat about good looking men. Now, that can be rough!
First you tell the guy who is harassing her to stop acting like a dick.
Then you tell the Woman that if she needs to talk you will be there for her.
Then you wait for her to hit on you. (just a Joke).
Depends.
Does the victim identify as female? male? Other?
Can the person doing the harassment further your career at all?
Is the person doing it important in politics/media?
Is the person doing it black? Muslim? Hispanic? Lesbian?
If it’s a white, heterosexual male, there’s an easy answer. But for anything else, it can be a tough call.
