A day or two after the FBI searched their home there were unescourted gawkers wandering around it. I thought “this seems like they don’t want to find any evidence.”

Perhaps the Deep State wanted to send a message to Trump: 'Look what WE can do and totally get away with it'.
Notice the single most glaring cries following the massacre: 'BAN BUMP STOCKS!'. Whoever did this clearly fears bump stocks. Who fears bump stocks? THE GUBMINT fears bump stocks in the hands of civilians.
This was a black ops false flag operation. They just so happened to find the ideal man to shoot dead in that room.

I was thinling a thumb drive. Boot from the thumb drive with minimal data.

I understand about 58 were shot to death and something like 400 others were shot and wounded and others near trampled to death.
Who knows if these numbers are accurate because Las Vegas seems to be having significant issues with the facts of this case.

Some time after the attack. Pretty sure evidence was taken out quickly.

No one’s posted that story yet.

You’re cookin with gas, there.
What brand of machine is it?
Which model?
How old?
Purchase traceable?
Sold with what features?
Figuring out whether there’s really an HD missing ought not be that difficult.

Obviously, the laptop had a center fuel tank which spontaneously exploded, destroying the hard drive. Great comment.

So he removed the hard drive and tossed it in the hallways trash Why even take a computer unless he was going to use it to communicate? And I imagine his cell was more than adequate for that.
And I believe he made hand written notes regarding rifle elevation/distance calculations. So why go to all that trouble with the laptop and then removing drive?
And trash can be recovered. He had to be smart enough to understand that. Paddock removing the drive doesn't seem to fit well in my opinion. Btw, did they ever reveal if he had a smart phone? Is so, it makes the missing hard drive story even more questionable from my perspective.
