The centrist ANO movement led by populist Andrej Babis decisively won the Czech Republic’s parliamentary election Saturday in a vote that shifted the country to the right and paved the way for the euroskeptic billionaire to become its next prime minister.
With all votes counted, the Czech Statistics Office said ANO won in a landslide, capturing 29.6 percent of the vote, or 78 of the 200 seats in the lower house of Parliament.
“It’s a huge success,” the 63-year-old Babis told supporters and journalists at his headquarters in Prague.
Babis is the county’s second-richest man, with a media empire including two major newspapers and a popular radio station.
Although he was a finance minister in the outgoing government until May, many Czechs see him as a maverick outsider with the business acumen to shake up the system. With slogans claiming he can easily fix the country’s problems, he is, for some, the Czech answer to U.S. President Donald Trump.

My congratulations to Mr. Babis, and I wish him well in his bid to regain the sovereignty of the Czech Republic.
It has been a theme within YouTube, that the revitalization and sovereignty of the European nations would emerge not from “The old Western Europe”, but rather from those States that have been through so much, with a more solid national identity.
This is remarkable, and yet another shot across the bow of globalism and the EU. I will follow this story with great interest. As in the US, there will be entrenched special interests who will fight this man tooth and nail. Maybe our man Trump can take note of how Babis responds (and vice-versa).

Winning a landslide with just 29.6% of the vote is a product of the fractured democracies that come with proportional representation. In the Czech Republic they use proportional representation and in their case it means a party only needs to get 5% of the vote to get seats in their parliament.
The Eastern European nations should withdraw from the European Union and establish a union of their own. What irony that long after Western Europe has descended into a Third World hell-hole, Easter Europe will remain ascendant and healthy.
Drain the swamp, Babis. Don’t stop winning.

Eastern Europe can remain free, prosperous, healthy, and ascendant as the Western European Nations continue their slide into Third World hell-holes, under the weight of their own Decadence!
What happens when the Western Europeans finally wake up, realize what they have done to themselves, and try to flee to the East? Be careful! They will bring their decadent suicidal ideas with them.
