Surrounded by security cameras and armed guards, I’d feel pretty secure too.
If anyone interviews him, the next question should be “so you are saying you agree to never have armed personnel protecting you ever again?”
The gun used was almost certainly an illegal weapon to own.
None the less, this brain trust is convinced making more guns illegal to own, will fix the problem.
What it is certain to do, is make more victims who cannot defend themselves and the people they love and are responsible for.

Josh Abbott can go and disarm all the thugs, gangsters, and the black market underground, and when he is done, then we can talk about taking the 2nd amendment away from everyone else.

This young man apparently never considered how dangerous guns are when misused. Now he is confused and repudiates what he believed until 5 minutes ago.
He will later read that the shooting stopped after good guys with guns arrived.
What he needs to do is write one more stupid song and call it “country music.” And spout some obscenity. And get the biggest hat he can find.
I was talking with a vendor the other day. He was very anti-gun after he got shot when he was younger by a friend being stupid.
After he thought about it, he’s gone 180 degrees in the pro gun direction. It’s just a tool and was mishandled by the owner.
Caleb doesn’t “get it”. I wonder if he “flipped” his feelings about how he felt about the Nazis taking away the guns of people. Dumb schitz.
