CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — There was nothing haphazard about the violence that erupted today in this bucolic town in Virginia’s heartland. At about 10 a.m. today, at one of countless such confrontations, an angry mob of white...

I thought he was afraid of having BLM-types show up and make a larger protest about cops...

The middle and upper classes saw them as the only ones who would protect private property and restore law & order.

Exactly.

When a society descends into chaos whichever side "protects private property and restores law & order" wins the support of the Middle and Upper Classes.

Which is why the Left/Deep State/Media complex are working so hard to destroy America's Middle Class. A nation of serfs without property or a stake in the nation are much easier to subjugate.

It is also why Trump won; the government’s refusal to deal with rioters (whether race or class related) made many realize the White House was occupied by “one of them”.

I go to Charlottesville twice a year to see my neurologist. The neuro’s at UVA hospital were the ones who finally got my seizures under control.
You are dead on.
Without the college and medical center the town would be a quiet intersection on a state highway.

Do not look for Terry “Bagman” McAuliffe to be of any help. He is a Clinton stooge and will be on the side of the antifa/BLM crowd.

I remember Kent State.
I think if deadly violence breaks out it will be the antifa/BLM/Soros stooges who start the dance and it will be more than four dead.

At that point I think John Q Citizen will realise that the Rule of Law has broken down and may take matters into his own hands.
If that happens the leftists will be taught that this is not 1970 and that the country is fed up with their childish antics.

Not looking forward to it but I agree it is coming.

Damn but I miss the country I grew up in.

Your comment is correct.

Chaos is a ladder.

The BLM/Antifa people were hoping for a incident like this.

That is why they chose a Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist rally.

Those idiots are far FAR less self controlled, reasonable and intelligent that real Trump supporters.

They have been trying to goad us into this reaction for a long time now and have been failing.

They get these morons to do something and get to paint us with the "Far Right Wing killer" brush.

Thus legitimizing all future violence against Trump supporters.

The Police Chief should resign.

That would be a start.

The police should NEVER come out with orders to "stand down" if there is violence. Were such orders given? There must be an investigation.

If police are free to not intervene, they should not be on the street. It gives people a false sense of security. And, why are they there?

"Police Stood By As Mayhem Mounted in Charlottesville"

Yes. They allowed the communist-led counter-protesters to tear down marchers' signs, hurl objects and throw punches at them.

Another example of what odumbo’s 8 years brought the radicals to. Still, he continues to promote and encourage disruptive activities from the “dark side” by keeping the chaos going hoping the nation will ignore Trump’s true agenda.

Activities such as Charlottesville don’t “accidentally” happen.

Saw this synopsis on Second City Cop's website, in a comment section....

Charlottesville Police and Virginia State Police donned riot gear and forcefully moved peaceful White members of the Alt-Right who lawfully assembled in a park (with a permit), while allowing violent BLM, ANTIFA, and other assorted left wingers (without a permit) to run amok. Sad day for the 1st Amendment.

I watched most of it on youtube. The people with the permit were told to leave which they were trying to do.As they got to their cars they were being harassed by BLM.Same group running around, easy to spot because of the clothes and the one girls hair. The streets should have been closed down.Large groups of people were trying to exit and they have cars driving through this crowd. What a joke. All they needed where barricades and police. This did not need to happen.

while allowing violent BLM [Black Lives Matter], ANTIFA, and other assorted left wingers (without a permit) to run amok.

These were the same sort of commies, anarchists, black radicals and hoodlums that led the Rodney King riots.

Who Is Doing the Community Organizing for Black Lives Matter Spectacle?

Not many Black Lives Matter morons would have the initiative to get a poster printed. But it's no mystery where they get the signs that they jab in the air as they chant "What do we want? Dead cops!" The supplier is printed right across the bottom: revcom.us .

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

'Rev' is for revolutionary.
'Com' is for communist
.

Revcom.us bills itself as "the voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA." The explicit objective is to overthrow our constitutional republic and replace it with an oligarchical collectivist dictatorship along the lines of North Korea and the Soviet Union.

Why would advocates of a communist police state agitate against the police? Because as leftists used to admit openly, the issue is never the issue.. This isn't about the police, any more than it is about blacks. It is about destabilizing the system so as to create opportunities to weaken it and eventually overthrow it.

That's what community organizing boils down to. These people have taken over the executive branch of the federal government; why would they stop there?

The next hill they take will be federal control of local police. After that, things will start to get scary.

From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us):

"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.

And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":

The 1992 LA/Rodney King riots were instigated by the Revolutionary Communist Party...

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

I Am not sure whether the counter protesters had a permit or not.

If they did have one, I would like to know more about it.

From what I understand, standard police tactics would require that the two groups remain physically separated.

It is also why Trump won; the government’s refusal to deal with rioters (whether race or class related) made many realize the White House, and Congress, was occupied by “one of them” "many of them".

Well, if that commenter is correct, the police targeted permit holding, non-violent protesters and enabled unlawful, violent protesters.

All I can say is that the PTB down there better hope its local government and responding LE agencies all have awesome computer security. Because some hackers might just find a treasure trove of info on what local government and LE did and why they did it. Because I’d be willing to bet they were dumb enough to put it in writing.

The left loves this. They are going to talk this to death. 24/7 coverage, with the expected hypocritical outrage.

When a non-White kills a White, no outrage, no hype, crickets.

Sounds like the Mayor/Police wanted to avoid liability (first priority) and images of police knocking heads that could set off Baltimore style riots and looting (second priority, but now they can pretend otherwise). Inaction was a gamble, but much easier to defend to Charlottesville’s Leftist electorate than Bull Connor redoux.

The Mayor and Governor knew full well that trouble was brewing, but failed to manage it the event properly. Free speech rights could have been better protected by requiring the event to be held in a wide open space — not a tiny square amid city congestion (with jammed streets, cars to attack, buildings to burn, stores to loot), with a plan to keep the sides physically apart. Let all concerned yell and scream until they are tired, escort the pro-statue group away, and let the others go home. The tactics of crowd control aren’t new or secret. But the melee gave the media the desired story, so maybe they feel like it was all a success.
