When a society descends into chaos whichever side "protects private property and restores law & order" wins the support of the Middle and Upper Classes.
Which is why the Left/Deep State/Media complex are working so hard to destroy America's Middle Class. A nation of serfs without property or a stake in the nation are much easier to subjugate.
It is also why Trump won; the government’s refusal to deal with rioters (whether race or class related) made many realize the White House was occupied by “one of them”.
