The latest video from Project Veritas is the most damning evidence yet of what we have ALL known: that the mainstream press has a dire liberal/pro-Democrat bias and they think nothing of ignoring basic journalism ethics if it means higher profits and manipulating the masses.
CNN is going to do its damndest to sweep this under the rug. To make sure people don't see this. And the major networks and liberal publications are going to close ranks behind their fellow traveler.
So it's time for Trump to strike while the iron is hot...
He should declare that CNN has now pretty much admitted that it peddles in fake news, that it has an agenda and it isn't objective journalism, that its producers know that the Russian issue is "bullshit", and that it laughs at the notion of ethics.
CNN has told the world that it can not be trusted.
So why is CNN allowed a presence at the White House among the press corps?
Trump needs to tweet the PV video and annnounce that CNN is henceforth banned from having a correspondent in the White House press pool. And if anyone asks why, he and his staff merely point to the video of the CNN producer admitting that they have a mission... and that it's NOT to be honest and trustworthy.
CNN has taken a blow. It's going to do everything it can to stem the damage. Trump should not let them. They've plunged the knife into themselves. Now it's time to twist... hard.

I tend to agree with you. Booting them out of the WH briefings will give them a claim to victim status, which they will use to use as “evidence” of Trump’s bias against them. No, it would be better to let them stay but call them out publicly for their dishonesty and fake reporting. This will be a more effective way of dealing with their lies and fabrications. Ridicule them.

Rather late in the French Revolution (1795) there was a street battle in Parish between Royalists and Revolutionaries. The relatively unknown revolutionary officer Napoleon Bonaparte ruthlessly cleared the streets by giving the royalists a "whiff of the grape" (grapeshot from cannons). This basically started him on his rise to power.
Even better if they took the bold step of renaming themselves the “FNN” (Fake News Network). That would probably the greatest honesty they have shown in some time now.

Nah. Sit them in the back and never call on them again.
The news cycle will be “Trump bans reporters - what is he hiding?” and people will think he is hiding something. Let them stay, he trolls them perfectly anyway and it give him an opportunity to make the news about him proving them wrong which he keeps doing. Anything seen as blocking a ‘free press’ will just feed the “Trump is a dictator” meme.

I say do it. Not out of spite, but because it makes sense. We know for sure that CNN will only go in one direction; they will become even more hyperbolic, vitriolic, and non-credible.
They are already cartoonish, they are on the verge of becoming a noun or verb synonymous with fakery.
