I was born in the mid-50's, so all the adult men in my life were veterans of WWII, having gone to war while barely out of high school, many lying about their age in order to enlist. Now they who survived are dying of old age - may God rest their souls.

I just can't imagine any of these girlymen doing anything beyond a sternly worded tweet.
