RAHWAY — A longtime Democratic operative from Union County has responded to the Wednesday shooting of a congressman by calling for a “hunt” of Republicans. James Devine posted several messages on Facebook and Twitter following the Alexandra, Virginia, shooting of U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise and several others by a gunman with a history of violence and of making online rantings against Republican officials and their policies.

That’s certainly not Union County...
Same thing happening in my county (Hudson), but we’ve seen a huge increase in our Hispanic population while all the crime that is in the news in Linden involves black perps. Friends from the area say it has all changed for the worse.

Even with the large Hispanic population Elizabeth NJ seems better off than Newark. I’m not in that area much; it is probably as close to you as to me.
Union County must be a not so nice place.
The more I read about the hate of the leftists the more I feel a visceral rage against their behavior. I deleted my original first sentence because I’m fairly certain it violates FR rules. But once the left pushes it to the point where the civil war goes hot, they’re going to regret it. Guess what, lefties? No take backs! When it’s on, it’s ON! We won’t start it, but we’ll surely finish it.
Once again, we are more than foolish if we expect leftists to act like virtuous human beings. They are fundamentally incapable of demonstrating chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, or humility.
Rather, when reduced to their nature, they demonstrate lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.

They are like scorpions, spiders, or poisonous snakes. They're going to do what they're going to do. When you run into a black widow or a brown recluse, do you get angry with them? Do you try to reason with them to get them to change their ways? Or do you do what you need to do and move on?
I have not seen or heard any leaders of the Left, chastising these violent-prone supporters to back off and stay within the law.
Where are Obama, Hillary, Bernie (especially), Schumer, Pelosi, anyone in the democRAT party to stand up and say enough is enough with all of the violence?
There are none. Why? Because these leaders are projecting their own anger and vitriol towards Trump. And in turn, transferring it to their liberal supporters. After doing that, they can blame Trump and "The Deplorables" for all the violence. This is how twisted these folks are.
I think it may be too late to mend the country. It is so markedly divided into polar opposite opinions, that there doesn't seem to be anything that we can come together on.
You'd think that after the actual shooting of a Republican congressman, that there'd be some unity. There is not. Both sides have their backs up against the wall and don't want to give an inch.
Does this foretell a civil war? Have the first shots just been fired? Or will there just be more continued sporadic attacks? Or will the country just become a more bitter, partisan divided nation?
It doesn't look good to me.

Now, we're trying to administer long overdue common sense limits and discipline and they are taking their rebellion to the next step, viz. violence.
