The New York Times corrected an editorial on the GOP baseball shooting Thursday that baselessly accused Sarah Palin of inciting the 2011 shooting of Gabby Giffords.
An earlier version of this editorial incorrectly stated that a link existed between political incitement and the 2011 shooting of Representative Gabby Giffords, the correction reads. In fact, no such link was established.
The editorial initially stated there was a clear link from Palins rhetoric to Giffords shooting, as a means of justifying the boards decision not to place the same kind of blame on Democrats for the baseball shooting.

Hope she sues the NYT.
It would be great if she did and prevailed.
I’m guessing that some high-powered lawyer connected with Palin gave the Lefties at the Slimes an offer that they couldn’t refuse...because it SURELY isn’t because the Slimes felt bad about printing that smear in the first place.
G*D damn fish rapper!!!
"Actual malice" exists on a finding that the publisher knew the statement was false.
The report was an editorial. As such it is given much more weight than an article written with a byline. It expresses the policy of the paper itself. Thus, she has a perfect opportunity to sue, if she chooses.
Hi.
“Did the scum NYT correct IT only because Palin may have filed a lawsuit against them?”
Yep.

Taking the attention off of something so so obvious. Palin’s connection is that she is conservative and an effective speaker. The connections of the left with the baseball killer are a lot more substantial and include many many highly publicicized pointed incitements to actually, like behead, kill the opposition.
They are still obsessed with Sarah, idiots.
