The U.S. economy under President Donald Trump is already showing signs of great improvement. So if you are CBS News how can you spin this good news into something resembling bad news? You might think this could be an impossible task but on the May 25 CBS This Morning, they managed to put a very creative bad news spin on the good news economy as you can see delivered by Norah O'Donnell in the following video:

Fake News is dying.
CBS: more people electrocuted under Reagan than under Jefferson.
More BWT.
More DWT.
These people are pathetic.
You’re right of course, but I’m more worried about what the politicized Fed will do as the economy slowly improves. Yellen and company are just waiting to hike interest rates and start the process of unwinding their massive balance sheet. At the “right time”. This will slow down economic expansion, probably just in time for the next election.
re: “more people killed in traffic accidents”
For all the years that illegal invaders have been driving illegally on our highways under the Obama administration, and all the concurrent accidents, not one media peep about it.
Where are the outcries about “more car laws”?
Where are the outcries of more highway patrolmen?
cricket .... cricket ...
The dangerous behavior of texting and driving is not linked to the economy, it’s linked to people who think too highly of themselves, which is linked to their education and upbringing.
I could SWEAR that this is not the first time this point has been made by the MSM. I am certain I have heard this one somewhere before several years ago. The reason I remember it is because I laughed at it so hard.
Body slam
I’ve posted many times CBS is the worst and has been for decades.
The media is so involved in deposing Trump they forgot to roll out homeless stories.
Remember when the economy was in the tank... pretty much all 8 years of Obama... and the enemy media did their cover duty and wrote glowing reports of how massive unemployment was actually a really great thing because it finally allowed people time to pursue hobbies and other things?
Reminds me of the Reagan years.
It was subtle, but I soon realized that every time they had to report good economic news, they would have another story on an individual that was not doing so well.
They would call it balance, I call it propaganda.
Well then we had best dispose of CAFE standards and let the automakers go back to building heavier, safer cars.
Years ago the Philly Inquirer ran an article about how increased carbon in the atmosphere would cause increased growth of nuisance plants like ragweed and poison ivy.

It's also linked to the fact that it's too 'effing easy to drive a car.
I work professionally in a field where I regularly deal with traffic safety and roadway design, and I've said for years that there is one simple thing that would be the most effective method for improving traffic safety in the U.S. today: Outlaw the automatic transmission.
“Outlaw the automatic transmission.”
I’ve owned a couple of manual shift cars and they’re a blast to drive until you find yourself in a rush hour traffic jam.
