University of California Santa Cruz administrators recently agreed to meet to all four demands lodged by a black student group who commandeered a campus building and would not leave until their conditions were met.
But in addition to the four initial stipulations, the group made three other demands to the university, and it has warned UC Santa Cruz that it has four months to comply with these demands or more Reclamations will result.
After three days of occupation by students of Kerr Hall, Chancellor George Blumenthal agreed to give all black and Caribbean-identified students a 4-year housing guarantee to live in the Rosa Parks African American Themed House; bring back the buildings lounge; paint its exterior the Pan-Afrikan colors of red, green and black; and f

GOOD!!
Hopefully this will bring tremendous financial and other difficulties to college.
This is actually GREAT because blacks destroy everything they touch (yeah yeah 20 percent are good, that’s great).
They’ve destroyed entire neighborhoods.
I am very optimistic they will destroy many colleges :)
You can’t reclaim something that was never your property. They are trespassing at that point and it should be dealt with as such.
UC Santa Cruz — snicker...
Give an inch they take a mile
Santa Cruz used to be a nice little town. That was a looooong time ago
The camel’s nose is inside the tent. No going back now. The UC administration brought this on themselves.
Those idiot educators at UC Santa Cruz are gonna find out that militant black students detest all white people including do-gooder, caring white liberals too.
And how about revoking those “Caribbean Black Students” student visas, and deporting them? The pictures of the “leaders” of the sit in, sure as hell weren’t of American Blacks! More like Haitians.
Colleges need to stop offering degrees in Liberal Arts.
STEM students don’t have time for this crap.
Yup. Used to go to the beach there in the late 60's.
Wonder why you never see these kind of “protests” or “sit-ins” at Hillsdale College?????
When people are placed in environments where they are not capable of succeeding, they tend to become hostile and disruptive. They seek to “change” the environment into something familiar.
How is this any different from what the Bundy group did - occupying a government building? Yet these clowns get rewarded and the Bundy group gets persecuted horribly with trumped up charges commanding decades of prison time.
For over 50 years, entire generations of blacks haven been handed free stuff by the US government.
So why shouldn’t they demand it from these idiot colleges and universities?
What a shame that knowledge and higher education has been reduced this this pathetic level.
Oh well, It wasn’t like we weren’t warned of this.....
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 18. Gain control of all student newspapers. 19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. 20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions. -
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. -

Yeah, let them stay there. They will have to buy their own food and cough up a few bucks for electric power.
I’m at a loss for words. What does one call a black Snowflake or the university administrators who cave into this kind of extortion?
This kind of spineless capitulation only encourages more of this kind of lawlessness. Look what happened at Fox News when they bent over and grabbed their ankles. Only one way to discourage bullys.
Appeasement always leads to more demands. It’s a show of weakness.
Yes they do ...
